Very soft with a very unique look
I used this for re-lining a guitar case. For this purpose, it wasn't quite what I was looking for for thickness - faux fur in guitar cases typically has a pretty thick pile, more than I realized, to provide some padding. In my particular case though, there was foam padding everywhere it was needed (which I replaced), and I added a layer of thin foam where it originally had fur glued directly to plywood to give it a nicer feel, so the fur being a little on the thin side in comparison was not an issue and the appearance was excellent when I was finished. This was a rather complex project, my first time doing this, and this case used a lot of separate pieces. There was no sewing necessary, but a lot of cutting and gluing to plywood, poster board, and foam padding. This fabric was great to work with, cut very nicely, and glued well with no bleed-through problems at all using Dan Tack spray and hot glue.

like folks say...it's so soft...
The product page says 100% cotton; the shipping slip says 100% polyester...Used it to back a throw of the Shannon red fox minky. I was trying for one side poly one side cotton.Stitched arround 8" in from the edge and then tied the middle.at 8" centers. What a nice nap.....as I prefer a bit of weight I added one layer of cotton batting. And it's still subtle and friendly. and a tad more body.

Beautifully soft!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely loved this fabric’s texture! The only downfall is the splotches are a little heavy handed. We needed up going a different direction, but I did like it a lot! It does have a more purple undertone to the brown. It’s so beautifully soft and if you want a baby blanket I would recommend! Also they sent me 38”! I color corrected the photo close to what it looked like in my house with some sunlight.

Very nice hand to it.
I wanted to make a throw but don't really like getting shocks off poly. This was a good nap... I'll try the oatmeal color more natural to a critter now it's back in stock. All in all the polys are very nice too. Each has their application...the coloring of this fabric is interesting. The accents are in sort of a greenish and purplish splashes here and there which detract from the background. In other words, I suppose they tried too hard to make it look 'natural'...The oatmeal is much better.

Somethings wrong with the quality
I ALWAYS order Shannon fabrics luxe cuddle by the yard... but there is a huge difference in quality in the marbled fabrics that I’ve noticed. I’m not sure what the cause could be, but I’ve emailed Shannon Fabrics and will update my review with more info when they get back to me.It will do for the project I have... but definitely not anywhere near as soft as all the others I have ordered from Shannon fabrics.

Nice fabric, godawful color. Pick another shade!!!
How can you screw up a light grey? This is a perfectly fine minky fabric, but know that the color is NOTHING like the picture. It's a sickly greenish grey. It just looks sad and dingy and drab. Truly, the undertones in this fabric are green and it's just sort of looks like the color a stuffed bunny would look with severe sea sickness. Choose another shade instead.

Not a very nice color
I was hoping for gray and white and instead got gray and dingy. Since I was using this on blankets for toddlers it wasn't a very good color at all.
