The ones I bought recently had a 7/2015 expiration date. However, the color quality was not that great. Seemed to tend to be yellowish

Our cameras are considered as used, but they are like - new in great condition. You might get a box with a small scuff. As for the dates they are good for 2018..usually 3 to 8 months out.

Q: Do I need to buy batteries for camera?

No, because all disposable cameras [with flash] already have the required battery in it. Either size AA or AAA. However do keep in mind that if the expiration date on the disposable camera is older that - say ten years - a good chance that the battery / flash will not work. Film should still advance fine. Hope this helps.
