This thermometer is amazing!!It has an easy to read LCD display and I just love the fact that you can alternate between Celsius and Fahrenheit with a couple of presses of the buttons. The old digital thermometers didn’t always have this function and you used to have to buy 2 thermometers- one for Celsius and one for FahrenheitThis new technology is so good and really accurate. The temperature reading comes up within seconds which makes is very easy to take the temperature of a sick child. I tested the read outs with an old digital thermometer and an old mercury thermometer and the read outs were identical so this thermometer is really accurate.I also love the fact that you get different colours to indicate normal, raised or dangerously high temperatures.The batteries are included and it comes in a lovely soft drawstring pouch which makes it easy to store. I hang mine in a cupboard on a hook so it is always to hand.The forehead cover is very easy to remove so that the ear temperature can be taken.Buy one, you won’t regret it!!

Received it quicker than expected, in decent packaging.It was one of the very few choices available at a time that was under £50, a good price compared to the other similar available at the time of purchase. It is especially a good price considering it can be used both for ear reading and head reading. Very, very easy to use. To be noted that for the head reading it does need to be in contact with the skin (not like the infrared). Not an issue at all for me.A couple of points after reading some other comments:-Yes, it comes from China, I don't see the problem here; as someone pointed out iPhones and many other quality things are from China too.-Yes, they offer an £8 voucher yet nothing in my review is false. I normally don't write reviews as I can't be bothered. Now that we are forced to stay at home, I have some more free time and I'm happy to help. If the product was not worth it, I wouldn't have spent these few minutes writing about it. £8 may be of help but won't change anybody's life. I wouldn't lie for it. I don't have any negative remarks about it so I can't picture why it should be any less than 5 stars. Well, it doesn't make me coffee in the morning but that is another story.-For the one who reported having incorrect readings, the item they received may as well be faulty. You should ask for replacement/your money back. I had changed digital thermometers in the past that were good in the beginning and then stopped working properly after years. Proof that faults do occur.

This is an amazing product, gives quick & accurate readings immediately.I love the fact that you have 2 options to take a reading via ear or forehead.My kids used to hate me taking their temperature using the old under arm technique, which took ages, now its quick, simple, easy and pain free.I would definitely recommend for any parents with children, to keep in medicine cabinet, and even comes in a handy pouch!

Easy to use and accurate. Comes with attachment for taking temperature from the ear or forehead. Comes with a small pouch to keep it in. Measurements are accurate and has the ability to store previous measurements in the memory. A little over complicated in that regard but you don't have to use it.

Product feels and functions nice. The head/Ear cap which allows you to change how you take the temperature is really good. However....Testing this against our current branded thermometer which is an in ear one, the temperature differs by 5 degrees. It even differs 5 degrees from the head/ear function on the new device. There is no way i could trust a reading from this device, and its rare i write a negative review on something.Obviously I may have got a faulty unit, but it does not look damaged and the head readings are within the realm of the older thermometers we were replacing, but in ear is so far out that if your child actually had a temperature they would be at a spontaneous combustion level.Disappointed with this purchase and cannot use it.

I needed a replacement for my previous boots in-ear digital thermometer which I have used for measuring my BBT in tracking my ovulation. I almost bought another one, until finding this for around the same price. I was a little bit sceptical at first as it looked so much more sophisticated than my old one, but only a couple of pounds more. I have to say, I am so thrilled with this. From the moment I used it, it has been spot on, and is so simple to use. The screen is a good size and there are only two buttons to press for use - you literally can’t go wrong. Needless to say, highly recommended by me.

Very impressed with speed of results compared to my oral old one (which I wasn’t sure if still working as I waited ages! The beeps are nice and clear on this one to hear and the display I don’t need my reading glasses on.Love all its functions and the fact it will light up to alert you of temperature results.Simple to set up easy to hold and comes with a protective bag.Very happy I chose this over so many.Read it came out on top by doing a google search when I found a comparison with other makes when they were all tested.

This thermometer is so accurate that I am now very happy I decided to buy it. the display is quite large and easy to read, the whole process takes just few seconds so it saves time as well.We use both functions, the ear reading and the forehead one and both work really well.I prefer this thermometer to the classic one, it is also a lot safer to use. Really reasonably priced as well, there is really nothing bad I could mention. It comes with a handy storage/protection bag too.Highly recommended.
