I purchased this solar powered lantern as a birthday gift for my husband, and based on his happiness with it, will certainly purchase more as gifts this Christmas. The product arrived in two days as promised, and when I had a question regarding the lantern, the owner of World Green Products responded quickly and pleasantly. The lantern sits in our sun room by day, and at night casts a brilliant light and charges our cell phones. I will certainly purchase additional products from this eco friendly company.

Great looking lantern, flexible with AC and solar panel charging. Recently we had a power outage at night and used an oil lamp which smelled real bad so we had to remove it from the house. I started searching on the web for a "clean burning" lantern and this was the best looking and providesplenty of light (high and low) for emergencies. I also plan to use it when camping. Great price also!

I purchased this lantern last week because of hurricane warnings. It Does Not Work. We charged it with the AC charger for fifteen hours. It worked this morning, but on re-testing tonight, there is no light whatsoever. I suspected after unpacking that it was a used and returned item, due to many nicks in the protective covering over the steel bands and also various scuffs and scratches on the chimney and upper housing. Had we lost power or been flooded, as millions have these past two weeks, this non-functioning lantern could have put someone's life in danger. Shame on Green World for sending us shoddy, life-threatening goods.UPDATE: After an email exchange with the vendor, I decided to give him another chance. I returned the clearly defective lantern, and he sent another one. It's new and works perfectly. We've used it tonight to grill outside in the fading autumn light. Lesson for vendor: Don't resell used goods, Lesson for buyer: Keep trying with the vendor.

I live in Florida, so this is part of my emergency kit. I like that I don't have to worry about having batteries around. Nice bright light. Can charge a phone, as well. I bought another one for a friend.

Haven't had the occasion to use it, but it's ready for the next hurricane and so am I. Not as bright as a gas lantern, but gas lanterns put out a lot of heat. Not good in Florida hurricane season. Nice looking too.
