Ok for simple woodworking and DIY. Definitely not for driving large screws (> 2-1/2 inches), as it bogs down. The batteries are only 1.5 A. The plastic box is cool too.It's noisy as hell, and one has to wear hearing protection especially in enclosed spaces, but it is in the nature of impact drivers. Get good quality bits for any type of impact driving.If I had more money and had to purchase again, I'd probably buy the 18V version (probably brushless).
