A must have product for anchoring into concrete
I am an avid do it yourselfer that is undertaking a basement finish project. I was looking for an alternative product for securing my base plates to the concrete basement floor. I have tried and have been extremely displeased with concrete anchor screws as well as the powder fastening systems. These have fundamental flaws that often result in a cracked and or chipped the concrete floor. I was finding that these alternate products weren't secured into the concrete leaving my with a loose base plate, definatelysomething that you want. While the US Anchor Drive product is more expensive than the alternate products, the added security of knowing that your plate is securely fastened into the concrete floor is well worth the additional expense. Please note that if you are planning on using this product, you will need a hammer drive drive and concrete drill bits. Additionally, I would recommend using a spade bit so that you countersink the anchor especially if you plan out placing your pre-built wall on top of your base plate.

Great concrete anchors
These are by far the easiest anchors I have had to put in concrete. Have tried a few options during my basement finishing job and these are the most painless to put in, provided that you can easily drill a 1/4" hole with an impact drill. I got the Dewalt SDS plus bit that's exactly 6" long and when drilling through the 2x4 baseboards, the hole is drilled to a perfect depth without having to mark the drill bit. I even look forward to putting these in the floor to secure those walls! With the price I paid for a bag of 100, these are the most economical choice that works and looks good too. Just make sure that you use a heavy hammer to drive these down as the flare at the end of the anchor does present a good bit of resistance, which is the whole idea.

The Mother of All Drive Anchors
These things are epic. I was trying to use a RamSet, but really didn't feel like it was the safest option. I ran into this product doing a google search, and bought them here on Amazon.Obviously you will need a hammer drill with a good masonry bit. You'll need to drill through the stud and into the concrete (make sure you wear a respirator, as concrete dust is not good for your lungs). I'd strongly suggest you shop vac out the holes after drilling. If there is dust in the hole it makes driving the nail home much harder.Once you get it drilled you pound the anchor in place, which does take some strength. Once it is in it is dead-solid. I couldn't remove one of the studs with a 4' pry bar.

Very strong anchor
PRO: As expected holds strong. Was able to pull up 2x4's anchor'd to the concrete with the 2x4 splitting and anchor not budging from it's location.CON: none that i can think of.Note: I used a bosch blue granite bit to drill the hole in my milwaukee m18 fuel hammer drill, and a Stanley 16oz framing hammer. It was easy, and no problems. Make sure you use something to clean out the hole drilled or the anchor will not go down as far. I used an air gun connected to my compressor.

but I got so many you could easily finish a big basement with just one package
These anchor nails are SOLID. I used them to secure floor studs in my basement and they did the trick. If you are finishing your basement, these are a must. They came in a huge clear hard plastic bag and are exactly what is shown in the picture. I will definitely use these again if I run out, but I got so many you could easily finish a big basement with just one package. Great product and shipped fast!

Snoopy hollers - Tapcon Tapcon Tapcon
Entirely useless product. These nails bend when you start driving these in the concrete. Ended up using Tapcon which, btw, can be used on PT lumber too.

It needs a 5/16 concrete drill
It needs a 5/16 concrete drill for the hole although the anchor is 1/4. They do not mention that anywhere in the product description.
