Great product, works perfectly!
I honestly don't know what the bad reviews are for on this thing. It is simple, and it works VERY well. I have a Garmin Nuvi 6" GPS. This glare shield fits my unit perfectly with zero problems. Let me address some of the common complaints I have seen in other reviews.- Cheaply made - Yes, this is made of plastic......and so what? This clips onto your GPS and doesn't move. It's never going to take abuse. It doesn't need to be made of titanium. Honestly people. Your GPS unit is more or less a semi-permanent fixture of your vehicle. You are going to use your phone & Google Maps, or a Trail app if you do a walking tour, not this. Sure, I take this with me into other vehicles occasionally for long trips, but the glare cover comes with me, and unless I manage drop it & then step on it, it's not going to break. It's a fact of life that anything made of plastic can and will break at some point, if you fiddle with it enough. Don't fiddle with it. Leave it alone, let it sit there and do it's job.- Clip obscures On/Off button - Why would you care? Your GPS powers on and turns off with your ignition. However, if you are like me and sometimes just want to turn off the GPS bc you just don't need it today, then use 3 clips. Which leads us to.....- Clips don't hold the cover securely - Actually mine do. They hold it very snugly. I even use only 3 clips, to allow access to the power button, and it is still very snug. However, if for some reason your clips do not hold your unit as snug as you like, maybe bc your GPS is very thin, or maybe your clips loosened over time from the heat thru the window, or maybe the little rubber grippers on the end of your clips came off (yes, it has little rubber grippers to help grip your unit), fixing this little issue is extremely simple and easy. Just put a small amount of fabric, neoprene, rubber, anything, onto the end as an additional friction buffer to fill the gap. Problem solved. Mine even came with an extra little rubber gripper pad in case one comes off. I keep it rolled up in the plastic, stuck down on the bottom of my console, just in case I ever need it. So pay attention when you open it, & look before you throw away all the plastic packaging. That's all. This is a wonderfully simple product that does what it is supposed to do. I do wish it cost half as much, but it does work perfectly for sitting on my 6" GPS and keeping the sun's glare off the screen..So read the above notes before you buy, ALWAYS be informed (when shopping for anything), and hopefully you won't end up needlessly whining about this glare filter like so many other people have.

Incredible Piece of Junk (please read full review . . .)
Very Flimsy and Way Over-Priced (read more...)The picture of the product on the Amazon doesn't do justice . . . to just how much a true piece of junk this thing actually is. The 4 'L"-shaped pieces in the center of the picture are flimsy little plastic braces that attach to the back of the actual shade (the outer piece in the picture). The shade itself just sits on the screen face of the GPS unit. It doesn't slide, lock, or clip on in any kind of secure fashion. The 4 flimsy pieces of plastic wrap clumsily around the back of the GPS unit, "pulling" the shield close up to the GPS screen face. But even after finally getting the complete unit carefully positioned on the GPS, you can simply push the entire sun shade right off the GPS. If you want it to stay on, you'll need to use some double-stick tape of some kind, but who knows what that will do to the touch-screen function of the GPS. And when you want to quickly remove the GPS from its dash mount, the sun shade is guaranteed to slip off in your hands and end up on the floor of the car, or worse, in the dirt just outside the driver's door. I use this on a rather expensive Garmin 2699 LMTHD, which I regularly (try to) move between 3 cars. But this piece of crap makes this a frustrating proposition. At best, this thing is worth no more than $1.89, and should include free shipping (someone should find a Chinese manufacturer to produce and ship them direct to the US, like so many other products available here on Amazon). The vendor should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a truly shoddy, poorly designed, and frustrating product.

Shield Works...Method of Attaching to GPS Doesn't!
Very poorly designed attachment system for the Garmin nuni series. Four long clips snap over the back of the GPS unit in a very insecure arrangement and the position (which can't be changed) of one clip covers the On/Off button on the back. You can leave the clip off, but then you have 3 clips holding the GPS in a flimsy manner instead of 4 clips

Some clips in the back are very hard, if ...
Some clips in the back are very hard, if not impossible to insert. If the Anti-Glare Sun Shade shield gets warm or sets in the sun for any length of time the clips become very loose and will not hold the Sun Shade in place.

I would just recommend that they use metal clips vs plastic
This product works fairly well keeping the glare off the screen. I would just recommend that they use metal clips vs plastic. Have had no issue with plastic clips but they could easily be broken if one is not careful when removing the shield

Only partial effectiveness
My husband bought this to reduce the glare from the GPS on the windshield . Though most of the glare is reduced, there is still some, but less distraction than without it...

no glare, nice
have had sun glare on other GPS units, but it's not the unit that matters. This visor is fabulous. No glare and easy to snap onto the device.
