Surprising and disturbing
I was surprised that the book focused on such a short time in Kyle's life. I thought it would be a lot more involved. Be that as it may, It fleshed out a lot of unknowns, and was i sorta nteresting , but really kyle is a porn actor, and frankly im.not interested in him having been a druggie or dealer, im baffled why They would focus on that rather than his early sex life and what the dynamics are. Taylor Saracen is a terrible writer, from the twilight school of writing. All sappy romance novel style.unrealistic conversations. And phraseology The book makes he and his brothers and his mother very unlikeable characters. And makes him appear kind of a jerk.if i was keith.miller, i dont think id see this as a good thing..... it seems everyone there seems obsessed with drugs ive read all the books and pot is the driving force in everyones life..... you guys are in the fantasy biz not the , tabloid tell all biz. Any other book should be about thier lust and sexual adventures... not how stoned and dysfunctional they can get.

Good continuation in series.
This book just like the first was very well written and easy to follow. It was interesting as a fan to get to peek into the mind of Kyle a little to see how he got to where he is today. I love his spirit to fight and keep going when a lot was pressing down on him when he could of easily have given up. I think at times he was his own worst enemy, but seems to have risen above that as he matured and moved on to where he is today.

Overall disappointing and unsattisfying book
There really was no cohesive storyline Or time line in this novel At the basics it was a story about a teenage boy who is screwed up .What more is there to say?Every time you think you've got the Plot of the story in your grasp It was turned around into something totally unrelated,At the end of the book, You're still left with the same drug addicted confused And Lost Yo man you started off with at the beginning There is so much unanswered even in the apolog-That I rate this book as totally unsatisfying And certainly not worth nearly twice almost any other Book Available on kindle.Ralph Denney

Not a great book or series.
I honestly have to say I expected so much more from this author. I have ordered 2 of her books and each is not worth it. The way she writes is quite boring, she over describes everything to the point of, “ok I get it, it’s a wicker chain, let’s move on.” The grammar or the editing could have gone through a second look because as a reader it was difficult at times moving forward in the book when what I had just read had to be read 5 times to understand what she was trying to convey. I wouldn’t recommend this series.

It’s a book you can’t put down!
Taylor Saracen is an amazing writer and really did an amazing job on this series already! She gets so much detail for her books and you can tell that she spares nothing of Kyle’s store that you wish the book never ended and makes you wanting more. I love that I am getting to more of the actors and not just what you see on camera. It makes you, as a reader, appreciate the actors/writers and everyone else even more when you know what they’ve gone through just to get there and be happy.

A thing as skinny as a twig, as strong as steel when bullied.
Kyle is half of a pair of identical twins with Kris. Matt is a year older, a senior to their junior year in high school when their mother moved from Texas to Tennessee following a divorce and loss of a power job. After being raised by nannies due to absentee parents, the boys have become independent and resistant to normal life.

Fabulous Book!!!
After "His Own Way Out", I was weary of this book. Was it gonna be the same story with a different name? I was thrilled when it was a different story and different tone, voice, and style altogether. Taylor's writing shows how well she got to know Kyle and how he is in everyday life. It was so easy to imagine the story happening as I read, which made putting the book down so difficult. I loved reading it, and I can't wait to see what Taylor writes next.

Judge a book by its cover
It is not the second book but the same book in a different skin was not happy that I spent money on the same book twice. Even if the first book was great did not like the fact I got the same book twice but in a different name.

Great read!
I really enjoyed Twink. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. While I found the first novel in the Rise Up series (his own way out) to be incredibly emotional on a very personal level, I found Twink to be surpremly clever. And interesting. Kyle's story was never boring or superficial. He is who he is and that's a smart rerousceful force to be wreckened with. I couldn't stop reading it once I started, it's such a fun ride. I highly recommend Twink.

Kyle Ross story.
When you finish one chapter you just want to start the next one. Easy to read and mostly, it’s nice to understand where Kyle comes from and how he made the best decision for himself. It’s pleasant to understand him better.
