I've only had this cabinet for a few days, but it completely saved my kitchen space. My landlord gave me bubkes on counter space and drawers, and this piece pretty much solved every issue. The drawers are small, but I found a silverware organizer at the dollar store that fits perfectly, and the counter is long enough to accommodate all my cooking needs. Lots of space inside too, and it looks very neat and cute for such a cheap piece of furniture. The color scheme makes it easy to find matching pieces if necessary.As other reviewers have mentioned, the assembly instructions are terrible. Most of the pieces were not labeled, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what goes where, even if it looks confusing at first. If I could do it by myself with a cheap screwdriver and not being mechanically inclined, anyone can. I do recommend having another adult or older child help you hold the parts together when you assemble, makes it a lot easier. I was a little nervous since other customers mentioned missing or mismatching pieces, but in my case everything matched. The finished cabinet looks exactly like the picture. It's not a high-end piece of furniture and probably won't last long, but an excellent value for the price.

All things considered, this is a fine piece of furniture. It is the first mail-ordered piece I have ever received that was not broken or damaged somehow. While the packaging didn't look very pretty, the contents were all perfect. Assembly will vary by person, but I would say if you've assembled these types of things before, you'll be fine if you take your time. If you haven't assembled furniture like this before, you might have some difficulties as instructions are a little ambiguous at times. Once assembled, it is a good looking buffet, but I can't see that it would hold up to a ton of use. We are using it in a smallish apt for extra counter top space and storage and for that it works perfectly. I am, however, worried that when we move again, this won't take very much abuse, but sitting still it works nicely. If you are looking for something to expand your kitchen usability and plan on setting it in place and leaving it there, you will be very happy!

This thing did not go together well at all, the holes don't line up and it looks crooked and wonky. I even took some pieces apart and tried again, thinking it was me putting it together wrong. Nope. Don't buy this. I should have paid another $100 or so and gotten a better piece of furniture, now I am stuck with this.

Looks pretty good - could be a little sturdier. Biggest problem - it came with NO instructions as to how to assemble! Good thing my husband is very capable!!

Assembly instruction isn't good to start with, then the wood is soft. We(2 adults) put it together in 3 hrs. Not sure how long it would last. One screw was loose in the hole as soon as we put the screw in. Over all, it is not a high quality piece of furniture. We bought it for our basement. But the price is low, I guess this is what I paid for.

This kitchen buffet is pretty nice. A good size and very sturdy - well, for my needs at least. Other reviewers might disagree though. I use it for bread-making. Bread-making you ask? Yes. I have two Cuisinart CBK-200 bread makers. And they fit great on the top of this buffet, sitting side by side (or left handle of one facing the right handle of the other). Beneath the bread makers lies all my bread making products; such as flour, bran, oats, granola, spices, rolling pin, spatulas, pizza sauce, jam jars, recipe books, etc. Even with weight of the flour, this cabinet is still standing. And the shelf inside isn't even bending. Yep, for the price, you just can't beat the quality. Best of all, it really isn't that heavy. So if you have it sitting on a hardwood floor and need to slide it or move it for any reason, you can with very little effort. Even loaded down, I can slide this on my hardwood floors. Good purchase, good investment. It works for me.

Bought this to add more counter space and cabinets in the kitchen and so far it has been great. The kitchen suddenly has a lot more space. The counter top is large enough to store utensils while the cabinets are spacious. THe assembly instructions were clear and it only took about 1.5 hours to put it all together. The quality of the wood is sturdy and ok for the price.I am giving it 4 starts however due to 2 reasons even though not that big deal. First, one of the door knobs had a small defect in design and the screw won't go in. I had to get a different screw on my own (little thinner) to get insode that knob. Rest of the knobs however were fine. Second, the drawers have nothing to block them (e.g. stopper) from falling out completely in case you pull them out and keep going. So just something to keep in mind.Overall though, a happy customer.

Packaging was really torn up. Pieces missing. Broken parts. No instruction on how to put it together. Marketed as "Simple Assembly" when there are a lot of parts.
