I am pretty impressed with this mount. I initially thought that the large bulging hump over the original power supply would be odd looking, but it isn't as bad as I thought. I love how this mount hides the cable and adapter. It also hides most of the Echo Dot itself so it doesn't make much of a difference if you have a white or black one. If you want to mount this with the Echo Dot above the power outlet then you will need to make sure that you have a new outlet that can hold is tightly. Some of my outlets were too "loose" and the weight of the Echo Dot started to pull it away from the wall and out of the outlet.Pros:* Short angled power cable is included!* One of the least distracting Echo Dot mounts that I've come across. I love that I can't see any cables.* Faces microphones outward from the wall so it can pick up your voice slightly bettter.* Can be mounted so that Echo Dot is either above or below the outlet.* Completely covers the Dot so its actual color is not very important. The picture I included is a black echo dot in a white mount.Cons:* A little more expensive than other similar mounts.* Mounting it with Echo Dot on top is only viable on newer (tighter fitting) outlets.Overall, I liked it enough to purchase a second one. While I wouldn't use this in every room, in some rooms (especially those with over counter outlets or those without furniture to place an Echo Dot upon) this is an excellent solution.

I wanted a mount that I can hang in my kitchen. I did a lot of research, and in my situation and where I wanted to place my dot, I needed it to be mounted upside down.It was very easy to assemble and it looks really good on the wall. No more long cords to hide, and what is also cool about this mount is that it actually transforms your black Dot into a white Dot. I liked that because I think it looks better in the location I have it at.If you are looking for an awesome mount for your Dot, you may want to look into this one. It cost a bit more than alternative mounts but this is a quality mount that is more aesthetically pleasing.

I'll start by saying I am still using the product, so it's not bad, just could be better. I was waiting to do a review until I found the original charger from my Echo, took me a couple months, but I finally found it. If you don't have the original charger, don't bother, it hangs loose on the wall like...well... something hanging loose on the wall.Once you find your original charger, things are TIGHT, which helps eliminate the whole "hanging loose on the wall".,It is very blocky but it does cover up the black cords and charger, so it looks slightly better than just the echo with wires.

This item is a simple but excellent idea for Echo Dot owners. The Dot being as small and minimal as it is, there's no need for it to take up space on a table, counter, or whatever. With the help of this gadget it can just sit on a wall below or above the outlet it's plugged into. No horizontal surface space is taken up, and there's no cord trailing all over the place or looking messy and bunched-up. If you already own a Dot, this thing will instantly give you a host of new options as to where you put it. And if you don't own one yet, this item pretty much solves the problem of where you can put it -- you no longer need a horizontal surface that's near an outlet.My one small complaint about this item is that I spent a fair amount of time being confused about how to put it together. I figured it out eventually, but some simple instructions would have saved me time and frustration.

Mount works and looks great. When we bought our new house I wanted a more sleak and professional look for our echo dot. This mount fit the bill. I've already had a few people ask where they can get one.

Looks good. Stable. Secure.I bought this for my laundry room. I didn't have a surface to set the Dot on. Installation was pretty easy (did struggle a minute on getting dot into holder and also engaging plug (until I looked at instructions and realized the order of installation was important and then did it following the instructions and it all fit together easy).The unit is stable enough in the outlet. I'm sure if I bump the unit a few times it would fall out (but why would I do that). I've attached a picture. I'm very pleased and will be ordering another one for my garage wall and another for my kitchen (to get the dot off the counter).I had no issues with the Echo Dot hearing me and sound is fine in this holder.This uses your Dot wall plug. It doesn't matter if your outlet is oriented with the wide blade on left or right or if it is a 2 or 3 prong outlet. It works in all. BUT, if you have an old worn out outlet (i.e. cords fall out easily) then this won't work well. It does rely on some friction on the prongs to hold the plug in place. My house is 12 years old and outlet had typical use so it holds the plug tight enough.

Upon first receiving this Outlet Wall Mount for my Echo Dot, it appears to be well made and looks great. It snuggly holds my Echo Dot, and sits firmly over the outlet on the wall. It looks great and gets my Dot up off the counter. I would definitely recommend this as a no-hassle wall-mount option for Echo Dot.

Looks Great! Definitely worth the money.Just make sure you don't try to put the excess wire under the AC adapter or you could crimp the wire. Leave slack and it will fold up in the shaft between the AC adapter and the Echo

Performance and appearance are 5 stars - Looks great, works perfectly and unlike some of the similar ones the short cord is hidden, so it makes the Dot and the mount look like a single piece. Much more attractive if it's located in a place where it is highly visible. I'm only rating 4 stars because I think the price is at least $5 too much for a small plastic device like this but still highly recommended. Note: I found this mount improves the sound from the Dot probably because instead of sitting flat against a table the back of the Dot is a bit away from the wall and the sound reflects off the walk giving the effect of a bit more bass.

I've tried several Echo Dot mounting systems and this Feiyen Dot Hanger is one of the best I've tried.The installation is easy ... the echo dot slips into the holder and the power supply fits into the top/bottom slot. The assembly hides all the cables and makes the dot and power supply on solid unit.You can plug in the mount in either direction with the mount on the top or the bottom of the plug. I found in either orientation the weight of the dot would pull the plug out of the socket a little and the dot would end up looking crooked against the wall.A small piece of double faced iPhone tape anchored the plug solidly to the electrical outlet and solved the issue.Overall this is one of the cleanest mounts I've found for the Echo Dot. I've purchased a couple of these to date and have now tried another brand "Dot Genie" . The dot Genie is a little more compact than the Feiyen mount and is also more money. I think both brands of mounts are expensive but they both do a good job and get the echo off the kitchen counter. I really like this product. I only have one side table in living room, and as such, the device was located directly in front of one of my surround sound speakers for my TV and stereo, as well as the powerful Bluetooth speaker the dot was is paired with. As a result, the echo dot couldn't hear my voice requests, so I placed the dot in this hanger stand in my adjacent dining room, away from the speakers and she can hear me just fine. I also like this model over some of the others I've seen on Amazon because the wire connecting the dot to the frame is hidden. It just looks nicer.

This was for the bathroom so I wanted something that is clean looking. I use to have a short wire and double side tape the Echo DOT to the mirror but this solution is much better. I can also put a figurine or something on it for decoration. These really should be like $10 since it's just a piece of plastic but worth it I guess. I wish the amazon power adapter wasn't so big but the 3rd gen DOT has a smaller adapter now.

you really need to think where are you going to put this??? it is as it says, a plastic holder for the Echo 2. but it plugs into a plug.... where are the plugs in your house. mine are 10 inches above the floor and the echo just doesn't like being at that height. so the other option is on your counter right. Well i don't know if its my house but the receptacles in my kitchen must be low set and i have to plug into the upper plug... which waists the whole receptacle on just the echo./ I eventually used it with the kitchen TV plug. it sticks out bellow the tv and looks silly but what are you gonna do. i first had it plugged into the island receptacle but knocked it with my knee a couple times so it had to move...great idea if you have a well suited plug

This thing is really good. It's great to hide any wires and because of where I have it placed it's overall very discreet (which is my intention). The only think I noticed, which is slightly annoying is that if I have to move it for whatever reason, the plug pushes into the holder too far and the dot won't plug in unless I pull it back out and squeeze the plastic so the plug doesn't get pushed in. Overall a neat little holder for the dot.

This is a great way to mount an Amazon Dot to a wall socket. The USB transformer fits into a covered top portion. The product includes a new, fitted, USB cable to neatly tuck away in the cover. The DOT fits perfectly. You can orient this mount to be on the top or bottom plug. I put mine in the bathroom and it looks nice. The "plug" portion sticks out a bit more than I expected, but this is due to the USB transformer that Amazon uses, not the product itself. Another GREAT design feature is that you can see the light ring on the DOT unobstructed.

easy to assemble & setup. The one thing is the way it sits in the plug. It needs a spacer to accommodate the space below the plug & the wall/back other unit. If you push any of the buttons it disconnects. The plug it is in is brand new and the explanation that it is worn is lost here.

Used this to install Alexa on a ceiling outlet. Worked great. Only complaint would be that the power adapter fits too snugly in the molded housing so its difficult to remove. Given what i intend to use it for though, its not an issue.

Arrived in good time. I obviously was not the first one to open the box, but everything was there. Super easy to put together. Took seconds to do. Looks good, holds in the wall receptacle as well as one would hope.

My echo dot sat on the counter with the cable coiled up. It looked ugly. I wish I had bought this sooner.It was quick to install and fits perfectly. Looks great.This was my first purchase like this so I have not tried other brands but I am very happy it.

Can't use mine because I don't have the USB plug that fits into the holder,. If you don't have it it's useless,. So I'll just throw mine in the recycle bin instead of the hassle of returning to got my $14 back.

This worked beautifully, but the top plug housing needs to be 1/8" shorter so we can use both outlets. The echo dot itself comes with a very large plug so the design of this unit accommodated. Otherwise it would look nicer it hung closer to the wall.

Exactly as pictured. The only problem I have with it, is that the plug will only fit in one way meaning it MUST hang as shown in the picture. It's possible to invert it, but you need to make use of the supplied screw hole, unfortunately that's an option that doesn't work with my wall where I want it, and the plug I REALLY wanted to use is mounted sideways making it unable to accept this holder.
