While I have only had to use this a couple of times, it has helped. I suffer insomnia and depression, and on days when I cannot get outside to get natural sunlight, or if it is dark and gloomy outside, I use it. It seems to help my mood.

Product is fine, but it never worked as expected for the original user. Gave it to another relative who loves it.

It did the job for us, bringing light to short winter days.

I borrowed this item from my doctor's office to see if it helped with my sleep cycle problem. What a wonderful light! The small, light weight size makes it easy to transport to work. The unit is the perfect size to put on my desk, or on a side table at home without having to put it on top of books to adjust the height. The stand attaches with one screw for a quick set-up.

I was replacing one just like it which I had for over 10 years. The product is supposed to be new, but the plastic piece covering the lightbulbs was riddled with black specks, and the body had several scratches. It works but I had to wash the plastic piece and will probably live with the scratches because it works and I need it for seasonal affected depression. But it sure does not look like a new product, which it's supposed to be.
