The quality and material were great, but the attire was not true to size.I would like to return the outfit for a larger size

This is THE BEST costume ever! I never wanted to take it off! The underdress is cotton and really soft and light and flowy (planning on wearing it as a night gown when I'm feeling witchy), and the over dress is a really pretty blue (I ordered French blue). Everything is really well made, had solid and sturdy stitching and the design is top notch. I'm 6'3", so the dress was the perfect length for me. I normally wear a 16/18 and I ordered a 2X/3X and it felt really well and I even had some extra room (I didn't lace the front up tight at all). I'm a huge fan of this dress and can't recommend it highly enough.

A fantastic costume dress for the price! The fabric is soft and good quality, it also is flowy without being too silky or hot. And the stitching was neat and sturdy. I wore it at work running back and forth all day and didn't get over heated too. It might be different if I had worn it to Renaissance fest. But in my experience it doesn't really matter what you wear to it you're gonna be hot walking around outside all day. The only unfortunate thing is that the underdress is longer than the overdress by a couple of inches. I safety pinned it up at each side and the back and you couldn't tell at all that I had done anything too it. It's also light enough that pinning it didn't make any big holes. It's a bit of a nuisance to get it just right but the rest of the dress is so great I recommend it to anyone else who wants a good quality costume. It's just too comfortable and cute to pass up because of one little inconvenience. Plus the colors were true to the pictures and the size as well. I'm usually a size medium at 5'5 and 145 pounds btw if anyone wants to understand more how the dress would look on themselves. It's also stretchy enough and adjustable that if you ordered a size larger or smaller than your usual you shouldn't have any issues. But I recommend ordering your usual size. Overall I highly recommend this dress to anyone looking for a comfortable, cute and quality renaissance dress.

I was very comfortable in it, has a nice material but not really the traditional cotton fabric. I got a lot of compliments on it. Also I’m 5’7 and it was plenty long enough for me. Only thing off was it was more purplish than blue, more like a periwinkle.

Fit as expected

While the dress is beautiful,I would not be able to wear it in my home let alone to the Ren Faire. The material is so light and fragile I had to put it in the box to prevent my cat and kitten from catching it with their nails. The Faire I attend has hay bales for most of the seating so the dress would be frayed by the end of the day.

I didn't expect much of this dress when I ordered it. As such, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a nice material, not too thin or too heavy; very comfortable and adjustable; and it fit beautifully. Since I'm tall (6 ft) for a woman, most women's clothing is too short for me, but this was a good length. don't have a picture, but I am going to enjoy wearing this to the next Ren fair. It gives off provincial Belle vibes that I adore. I'm glad I found it!

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is the sizing is really hard to figure out. I'm 5 foot 3 and 180 lb so I got the 2x 3x. it's extremely long which I expected and really big. But if you look at the sizing chart it's supposed to fit snug. I now I have to decide if I'm going to return it and try the xlarge, hoping it's not too small or keep the one I have and where it big. I have a completely tightened in the back and it's all bunched up and looks weird. The front is as tight as it goes as well.
