I purchased this after reading, many reviews and looking at everyone’s pictures to wear to an upcoming Renaissance fair. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but I wanted a decent costume that I could wear my tennis shoes under since we’ll be walking around all day the under dress is quite large, and could fit any number of body types, the overdress ties in the back in the front and at the shoulders, allowing you to wear it over your bust or under your best, and to tighten or loosen anywhere that you need it so flattering to just about any body shape. I am 5 foot four and weigh 165 pounds and as you can see this is a fairly flattering look even on a chunky little thing like me. I have had it hanging in my closet for a week and it is still pretty wrinkly so I will likely iron it. The material is a decent quality for a costume, not too shiny or costume like, but not high quality material that you would feel like wearing regularly. The under dress is a bit sheer and see-through in the right light so I’ll be careful what I wear beneath. Colors are always a challenge since there is a difference in monitor and real life but in this case I found the color I chose in the color I received are very, very close and just what I wanted.

I ended up dying the white dress purple mostly as a personal preference but also because I was a little worried the white would be see through. But I liked it. Btw there were a lot of people wearing this or a different color dress at the renaissance faire. If you’re looking for unique maybe not the best choice but I like it.

This dress was very lovely and I’m afraid that I don’t do it the justice it deserves. The fit is customizable due to the numerous lacing options. The material was light weight and comfortable for the Florida heat. It is the perfect entry level piece for a costume for the local Renaissance Faires. I’ve decided to take this piece and add to it each year to make it more my own. I may even purchase again in another color.

Well made, gorgeous color, super adjustable! Would recommend to anyone who needs a beautiful medieval gown! I got a size s/m and it fit great. It is adjustable at the shoulders, front laces, and back. This size would probably fit someone anywhere from a size 4 to a size 8. I am 5’8” and the length was perfect.

Hey y’all! I ordered this dress for Halloween and I sized up because I was worried I wouldn’t fit into the small size. I was definitely wrong haha. It’s a very pretty dress for the price, a great costume. Don’t size up.

I am 5'4" and it would definitely be dragging on the ground if not hemmed. However, it is super cute for Ren faire!
