72 Inch Brown w/Black proTOUGH(TM) Kevlar(r) Reinforced Boot Laces 6mm Thick Shoelaces- 2 Pair Pack

This is actually 2 pairs of laces, for 4 total. I know it says so in the description, but maybe that will help someone like me who read it thinking it was only one pair.I ordered the same size as my original laces, but while those had no stretch, these new laces have about 2-3 inches of additional stretch to them, when laced tight I get pretty large loops (although not unusably so, from the top of 8" boots they reach to the top of the eyelet lacing over the metatarsal of the boot). The listed length is the unstretched length. Would be great for those who like to wrap their lace around the entire boot before tying.Color is a very nice dark brown with subtle dark blue-grey highlights (the titular Kevlar?). Matched my Carolina boots perfectly.Laces are a bit thicker than the original too; they fit the eyelets and hooklets just fine with no binding, but definitely a bit more "heft" to them.They lace up tight and stay tight all day (which I attribute to the aforementioned stretchiness).

I needed extra long shoelaces for my hiking boots, the factory laces were barely long enough, and they were wearing out quickly. Unfortunately, despite the "proTOUGH and Kevlar" badges of honor, I was glad I accidently ordered two pair.. and yes, these are in pairs, not single laces. (why don't they specify such things?) These laces barely lasted as long as the factory laces... which didn't last long themselves. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing differently, but usually I only have to re-lace my shoes once before they die.. this will make twice on this pair of shoes.

These laces fit my Wolverine boots wonderfully. They are a bit thicker than the stock laces and as such, have a bit more presence. I have just started to use them so I can't give a review on their longevity just yet.

I had a very hard time finding a good pair of boot laces. These laces were perfect for what I needed. I want to be thicker bootlace that was 72 inches long this fit the bill.

just laced up my boots with these laces. They seem to be heavy duty. I can't comment on durability yet but will let u know how they hold up.

Another review warned these were rather thick, this was not an understatement. I have some steel-toes from Shoes-for-crews, and while they fit through the bottom a-brackets no sweat, the eye-holes up higher were more of a challenge. However, I did have both shoes laced fully within ten minutes.(Lacing, adjusting each side to be even, tightening up, etc.)So far, they seem nice, would buy again.

The laces were too thick for my boots. Seems strange I know but I could hardly tie them. The product was great though.
