Complete Product Review - Worth the Money, Just Ignore the Extras
Size:I haven't got a clue why people are complaining about the size, at 0.7 inches wide this usb drive is right in line with every other usb drive on the market. It's skinnier than my Lexar 32gb usb 2.0 flash drive that I bought a few years ago and it has no problems fitting alongside my other components that are plugged into usb ports that are side by size.Product Build:The product is great, it has the right price and the right speed. It has a role in the top so you can connect it to a keyring, backpack or something similar so you can always have it with you (it is not waterproof). When I first pulled it out of the package it was making a lot of squeaky noises because the parts had not settled in yet which worried me however after holding it for just a few minutes and pressing it together this was taken care of and it now feels sturdy and has no problems. The lid for the product is a little cheap, I generally do not like usb drives that have lids because they are so easy to lose. I would consider this the only downfall to the product, the lid comes off easily and it would be nice if you could slide the lid over the opposite end of the usb drive when you are using it (much as you would a marker or pen). There is a red light to indicate when something is being read/written to the device but no permanent light that shows it is connected.Color Changing:The color changing technology does not seem to work for me, I've tried placing it on a bag of cold water and holding it tightly in my palms for a few minutes but I can't seem to get any visible change in color as described. This doesn't bother me though as it wasn't something I cared about, it was more of a "oh, it has this too" kind of thing.Read and Write Speeds:Read and writing speeds are what you would expect and similar to the speeds that other reviewers are getting so there is no problems there. Just don't expect the advertised speeds to be achieved as there are more theoretical and wont be attained in most situations.Packaging:I like the packaging that it comes in, hardly any excess of what it has to be. The "Touch & See" sticker for the color changing temperature is place upside down which is odd but no biggie. It comes with no manuals or sheets of paper, I was hoping it would come with some information about the warranty however it fails to say anything other than "Lifetime Warranty" in the corner. The download url on the back of the package to get the SP Widget is not correct and just brings you to an error page.SP Widget:Even though the url on the package is incorrect, it can easily be found through a search engine. The SP Widget features "seven main functions to maximize your SP portable HD and USB flash drive's potential by making data storage more intelligent and convenient." It's 12.2MB in size so it's very small. The download contains two files: a lengthly manual and a .exe file which contains all the widgets that can be put onto your computer or flash drive. The widgets included are: data backup, encryption (can't find level of encryption and can only be applied to folders), PC Lock and Norton Internet Security. Nothing really stands out here, the encryption could be useful for some people depending on what level of encryption it offers, PC lock is useless, you would be better off using the built in OS lock.Overall:The flash drive does what it is supposed to do well, it reads and writes at great speeds and stores lots of data at the same time. The color changing and SP Widgets are not very useful thus shouldn't really be one of the main reasons why you would buy this product (it shouldn't even be thought of for that matter). These two things don't get in the way whatsoever if you choose not to use them so they aren't any real problem. This is definitely a worthy buy, a great flash drive, just ignore the extras that come with it and you will not be disappointed.

Black and silver 64 gb m60 works well, even if packaging mislabeled
(newest updates at bottom)Going to contact the seller and will update once I do, but it does not appear to be as advertised. The page for the black and sliver 64 gb (marvel m60) units says"*read speed of 180MB/sec write speed of 85MB/sec"I received the correct unit, but on the back of the package it says100/70. There are cheaper units at that speed. I got this one because I thought 180/85 made it a steal at this price.------UPDATE 12/13/13I contacted the seller who reported that the 180/85 is correct. Also called the manufacturer. Manufactured stated 180/85 should be correct and that it's the same drive, just the packaging is different. Basically as hardware of the testing machines improves, the results improve and they update the packaging.Ran the first tests. On got reads of 32.873 and 33.01 and writes of 29.137 and 25.75 MB/s using speedout v0.5 and checkflash 1.16.2 respectively. Will check my usb connections and repost (this seems close to those tested on usb 2.0, wondering if my board is set up wrong.)--------UPDATE 12/14/13Spent the day troubleshooting this. As I was beginning to think yd, the problem was my usb connectors. Turns out my mobo did not have usb 3.0 drivers installed and windows could not find any, nor did the manufacturer offer any for win 8. I installed the manufacturer win 7 drivers and it works well now.Speed:in usb 2, see above speeds from 12/13/13in usb 3, speedout v0.5 gets anywhere from 165-189/92-98 MB/s (usually when read is slower, it's the 1st qtr coming in around 135-145 and lowering the avg),HD speed reports and average of 195/(didn't do write as it want's to clean the drive completely including the default files), Check flash 1.16.2 reports 171-172/51-65 on small pattern set (what I used for usb 2.0) and 171.6/85 on full pattern set. I also copied a 16.7 GB folder with 67 video files ranging in size from 100 MB to 990 MB in 3:42, which averages out to a write of 75.2. It was copied from a USB 3.0 Seagate expansion external drive.Pros:- very fast- much cheaper than other drives at the same speed and even some at slower speeds- write speed seems to go faster than advertised at times (at least per speedout)- nice, sleek appearance- doesn't have the obnoxious flashing light I'm used to on my lexar- The M60 lists compatibility with win 2000-win 7 (and works on my win 8). also lists mac 10.3.x and Linux 2.6.xCons:- Usb ports don't always recognize it, sometimes there is no response when I plug it in.- The slider has to be held forward as you plug it in or the drive will slide back inside and it won't go into the port. I have other drives with this mechanism that stay out when the slider is forward.- It's a little wide, may block ports on some computers. At the present this is not an issue for me as I have an abundance of ports. may be an issue down the road (I can put smaller usb items directly next to it, but my Lexar jump drive prob wouldn't fit right next to it as it's also a bit wide and the narrower plugs are a tight fit next to this one)- read speed seems slightly lower than advertised- packaging understates drive speedMy setup:G1 assassin x58 LGA 136612 gb 1333 SDRAMi7-970

So far so good
I wish the upload was a bit faster, but the read is really decent. I only bought this flash drive because it was the best deal I could find at the time, otherwise I would have chosen one where the lid was attached. I'm going to guess I will lose it in about 3 weeks.

As advertised
Arrived promptly and works as advertised. This is a very good alternative to carrying around a portable hard drive when working with under 32g of files.

Hot Stuff
It heats up A LOT. Otherwise, it's pretty fast and is small. Good price too.
