Good read
One of the books I read in my study of the afterlife - good book for the topic. There were a number of things it covered, that reinforced 'like' things that I had read and those I suspected. I came across only one thing I didn't agree with, and still would like to have read more from the gentlemen that the author interviewed in the book.

Helpful
I bought this book for a relative who was grieving a loss. She mentioned that she'd always wanted to know more about life after death. It brought her great comfort. I bought a copy for myself because that made me curious. This book is clear, easy to digest and minimally leaves one with an understanding that death is not an ending but a transition. It is both interesting and reassuring.

I first read this book after my mother passed in 1992.It brought me such comfort that when a friend lost her husband and mother within a year of each other I thought that this book would give her comfort as it did me.I would recommend this book to any one that has lost a loved one

LURCHING THRU LIFE AFTER LOSS
This review has no negative comments about LIFE AFTER LOSS; the "lurching" in the review title refers to my adjusting to the death of my daughter when she was only 43 years old. In fact, some days I'm still lurching, and may lurch for a long time.LIFE AFTER LOSS was a great help. I won't steal any of the book's thunder, but I will admit that I re-read it regularly. It helps.

A real must for the metaphysician
This book is one of the best ever written, well researched and though-provoking, it will help the reader to understand the process of life and death.I bought this book many years ago, lent it to a friend, bought it again and once more lent it to a different friend. That is the trouble with buying books, you lend them in the hope they will be returned.

Very Comforting
This is a wonderful book for anyone who has experienced a loss due to death. I found it to be very comforting, and hope to read moore books by Dr. Moody.

Not comforting
The authors are clearly not counsellors, nonetheless I was expecting some comfort. I got nothing out of it. They intellectualise and compartmentalise a process that is essentially an individual journey. Mistakenly they seem to indicate you have to get over it or as one reviewer writes 'put it aside'. Most of the examples are within a very defined range of experience. The book is too harsh for my tastes although chapter 8 on modelling the process is not bad. The best authority on the subject is still Dr Wolfelt, who is a compassionate and incredibly wise counsellor.

Life
En realidad me ha gustado el libro especialmente por los ejemplos reales que narra. Ahora bien me esperaba más del libro, creía que sería más profundo.
