Bold & Smooth
It’s velvety greatness. I love when I’m able to drink coffee black and it tastes great.

Cameron's velvet moon decaf whole bean coffee is outstanding. I have been searching (and trying) decafs for a long time, this is top of my list and I even joined the monthly send to my home service...it is that good. Try it, you will not be disappointed if you are looking for a super strong decaf

So good
This coffee is so good. To be decaf the flavor is very rich and full bodied. The price is good too. Enjoy.

Best Dark Roast Decaf EVER
We are highly discriminating regarding our coffee. I became exasperated hunting both in stores and online to find a dependable dark roast decaf. We had previously purchased Cameron's Hazelnut Decaf from a local store at my daughter's request; and I am so glad we did. That was what prompted me to try the Velvet Moon from Cameron's when I saw it here. I would not care if I could never buy any other coffee - ever. This is delicious! Very dark roasted (but not a hint of burned), smokey, intense, in short IMHO just perfect. And, I checked the Cameron's site for more info. All their decaf is water processed. REally perfect. This one's definitely on an Amazon auto-ship.

Not so much.
I tried several different grinds but this did not taste as good as the singles.Did not taste like a dark roast.Uneventful taste: no depth and little favor.Taste is an individual experience.Others may enjoy this coffee.

Velvet Moon Decaf whole bean coffee
This makes excellent coffee. It is similar to decaf espresso. It's very smooth.

Poor quality beans, and not a very dark roast
This coffee was disappointing. The whole beans are chock full of quakers--the runty, dried up shards that, according to a leading consumer magazine [cough CR] are the cause of that "truck stop" acrid taste. I compared the darkness and oiliness of these beans to my favorite Cafe Altura French Roast(also available on Amazon, including Subscribe and Save)--and these look like supermarket beans! The brew disappoints, as I expected, although it improves a bit if you take out as many of the quakers as possible. It lacks that satisfying dark roast richness--it is acid and tastes "old" even when freshly brewed. Not good.
