The assembly of this was problematic and the handles did not secure to the metal frame. After using it on a section about 10x20 feet the blade snapped across. Unsatisfactory.

Really disappointed in this item. Poor quality and construction. Difficult to assemble because most of the bolt holes didn’t line up. Wasn’t able to tighten some pieces well enough to get it secure. Had to do several modifications just to get the pieces to hold together. Also, the blade wasn’t sharp enough to cut anything. Definitely not worth the money.

In order to do a review I had to give it 1 star, otherwise I'd give it zero. There only thing good about this item was the price. It comes with assembly required. The holes don't like up for proper attachment. When we contacted the manufacturer, we were told it was correct. We looked at it again. There is no question that it was manufactured wrong. A refund was then requested. We ended up contacting them 3 more times requesting a refund. When I filled a claim with Visa, they amazing sent me an email saying they were refunding my money. They didn't want it back so, we made it work, which it did for about 10 minutes then the blade itself snapped in half. In the end it I s poorly manufactured, the durability is non-existent, and the customer service leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Handles had to be modified to make them fit the handle. Blade and handle had to be modified to make them fit. Bolts to attach handle and blade were not the correct ones. Others had to be purchased to attach them.Not a very good job of packaging and no instructions.

So I saw a few reviews mentioning about the screws needing replacement, and when I got the product it was obvious why. The nut did not properly hold in place on the threads, and the handle and blade kept coming loose; replaced all of them and thought all was good. Then noticed that the handles still slid and needed to drill extra holes to keep them from sliding off mid swing, and wrapped some extra wire and duct tape around the blade to keep it from coming loose. Then the blade itself broke... so yeah nothing but scrap metal.

This scythe is horrible, even after sharpening it upon delivery it's flimsy design and poorly made blade couldn't even cut my lawn. Waste of money

Absolutely a waste of money. Poor quality, sharp blade would not stay in place. And didn’t work well for cutting tall grasses. Two thumbs down 👎🏻 👎🏻 It hit the free spot on the curb.

The design is really cheap and needs many improvements. The tab and wingnut holding the blade is flawed. The middle handle doesn’t stay in place. I had to use duct tape to make it useable. Don’t buy it. Go to an antique store and find one they work better.
