Buy it!
Best paddle I have had so far. Good pop and good spin! Great for beginners or intermediate players! Grip is fantastic. Case is so soft!

This racket is a great all around racket
You wouldn't think there would be much of a difference in pickleball rackets but there really is. We bought this racket because my husband and I average playing 3 times a week for 2 - 3 hours each time. One of the gentlemen we play with had his racket (not sure what racket he had) break during league play and he had to tape his handle up to make it through the night. My husband and I got to talking that maybe we should purchase a back up racket just in case that happened to us. This racket is a great all around racket. It seems to have a bit more control then our other rackets. It also has a great grip with a little bit longer handle. What's funny about pickleball is one night you can play with one racket, not do as well and use another racket and it works better. Not sure why that is or if that happens to everyone, but for me it's nice to have another option. My next racket may be a power racket. By the way, I love the Amazin Aces Company. Paul had an email conversation with me answering all of my questions. He was very kind and helpful. So guess what are rackets are? Amazin Aces rackets. We started out with the wooden ones because we were beginners and didn't know if we would stick to it or not, then upgraded to the Emerald and then purchased this one for our back-up. My husband and I both like this racket so sometimes we play with this one and sometimes we play with the Emerald. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong. And no, our rackets haven't broken. Our wooden ones got a few chips only because I scraped the racket on the cement. My daughter still uses the wooden ones.

Fantastic grip - just the right weight for me
I have been playing pickleball for about 7 months. At first I just used borrowed paddles, but then I bought a set from another vendor. Those paddles are very light and give me great spin, but not a lot of power. I am not great at generating power, and so I wanted a paddle that would help me in that department. I also wanted one that had a generous sweet spot. The AmazinAces Signature paddle is exactly what I needed. It is not as good as my other, somewhat textured paddles with regard to spin, but I played with the Signature paddle tonight, and was able to generate plenty of spin on my serve and on my returns, when I wanted to. More important, though, is that my error rate is down and I'm making more solid contact when I hit the ball. I usually win half or slight more than half my games; tonight I won 9 and lost 1 with this new paddle. I originally thought the grip was too large for me, at 4.5, but actually it seems just right, and the grip does not slip at all. All in all, I feel completely confident using this paddle.

Weighs 1 ounce more than the description stated.
Clearly states 8.1 oz; The paddle I received weighed 9.2 oz on my kitchen scale and 9.3 on the post office scale. 1 oz may not seem like much but in competition that is a huge difference. I wanted to like this paddle so much because I learned to play with an Amazing Aces wooden paddle that weighed about the same as this one does and I loved it. Not worth the extra money to get a composite paddle that is no better or lighter than the wooden one.Update. Played with this paddle for a while. Plays ok, but the paint on the face is already chipping off the edge of the paddle. (see photos) If you're a beginner and looking for your first composite paddle to try out for a cheaper price, this may be an ok choice for you. Play with this a while and when you get more skilled then you can upgrade.Update: above issues aside, after a year of having this as a backup and practice paddle it still hits firmly with very little "dead spot" issues. I'm upgrading to 4 stars because of playability and durability. If you can afford a $150 fancy paddle, more power to you. If you are beginner or 3.5 player or below, or you just want a good paddle for a very reasonable price, this would be a great paddle for you.

Sturdy rackets
We purchased these rackets after using our friends’ rackets, and finding them a good fit for us, I am a small handed female, and my husband is a sturdy male with large hands. These paddles will, over time and play, receive scrapes from courts if you play low; however, they have never split or cracked on us although they’re not as pretty as they were when new. Worth the money!

Great paddle, great looking, too!
I'm new at pickleball, so I don't have a lot to compare this paddle to, but after trying out a couple of paddles at a clinic, I realized that I like a bit of a heavier paddle. The Amazin' Aces website was very helpful indicating the weight and benefits of each of their models. This one is 8.3 oz. Coming from a tennis background, I chose this one in order to make stronger ground strokes and serves. The paddle is terrific, just the right weight for me, very striking graphics (I bought the blue honeycomb pattern) and feels well made. I also like the quality of the wrapping of the handle, and the length. I'm not very fast on my feet, and I'm short, so I feel like the longer handle gives me a little help. Best of all, I like the Amazin' Aces company. Although I bought the paddle on Amazon, they cared enough to send me a note of thanks along with the free ebook, and a follow up email a couple days later to see how I was liking the paddle. The direct connection from the company is a nice extra.

Comfortable and nice control
Started with wooden paddles and had to upgrade when our group got serious. This is the only composite paddle I have used so I don't have much to compare it to other than the wooden paddle we started with (this paddle took a little getting used to after playing with wooden ones). I play aggressively 3 times a week for 2-3 hours at a time and rely on finesse and power equally. I only play with one side of the paddle during a game so it takes some serious abuse. I bought this paddle December 2, 2022 and feel it has held up fairly well for what it goes through but to be fair, I really don't know how well other brands hold up. You can see the wear on the face and judge for yourself the quality (pretty sure the big chip came from hitting an obstruction next to the court we play on). I have been very happy overall with the way this paddle plays and the control it affords me.
