The Water Hole Board Book Board book – September 1, 2008

It's a cute board book, but if you like the original book, you will not like this version.The pictures are very much cut off from the original, and it does not contain the whole book (missing lines and pages).

This is an excerpt of the original, but ideal for the baby gift.

Amazing drawings, lifelike and the hidden animals in the background are cool. Great counting book which I also use to show my daughter that all animals drink water (and she should too)

This is a wonderful book. It is full of beautiful paintings that Graeme Base did along with fun pictures of animals to find in the paintings. My 4yr old granddaughter loves looking for them. Every page makes the water hole smaller till the rainy season comes again. This is a beautiful book and so clever.

My personal BAse favorite is still Sign of the Seahorse, but loved that this comes in a board book, as I wouldn't want to let our three year old grand-daughter manage the larger hard-back versions of these gorgeous books. She loves it!

Beautiful images and images within images that surprise you!

I love this book! This version is a great way to introduce infants and toddlers to Graeme Base without the book getting destroyed.
