Moldy, cheap, chinese CRAP
Turn mildew-y after a week or so. That’s WITH cleaning the water fountain every other day AND using pre-filtered water via an in line GE system I have. I only was using these filters to filter out the occasional cat hair to be honest.I ended up getting a better & more sanitary cat fountain with a 5 stage filter you change every 2 months and a washable mesh filter that catches any debris before the water goes back into the belly of the fountain. Its called The Magic Feline Fountain sold only by My Lovely Feline. There’s a knock off on here of it, but I ended up getting it directly from their website.

Really works
I got a water fountain for my kitty over a year ago which has been running 24/7. I rinse it out and put fresh water in it every few days. I had been putting in clean filters regularly and about every 4-5 weeks cleaned the fountain thoroughly. Fresh clean water always. Then Ihad mistakenly ordered the filters with carbon/cotton/resin. What a mistake! I didn’t understand the brown slimey stuff throughout the fountain since it had been a breeze to keep clean before. Ah ha! Not the same filters. Threw them out and ordered these (just carbon) and I’m back to clean water with minimal cleaning required.

Does NOT fit Catit brand fountain.
They look to be of fine quality, and the price is decent. But I missed that they don't fit the Catit brand fountain I've been using for about a year. Water just bypasses the filter media altogether. Despite it's popularity, I'm no great fan of the Catit. Hard to clean, pricey filters, weak pump, no level indicator, etc. So I'm looking at the fountains that these will fit.

Just like the expensive filters
These fit in my cat’s flower-like fountain perfectly and keep the water clear and running smoothly. I rinse them out once a week when I clean the fountain and change them every couple of weeks or so.They are comparable in every way to the ones I was buying from the company that made the fountain, that end up being about $5 a piece. So this is a nice little price break. Very pleased.

Garbage
Who is writing these reviews. First there is not enough charcoal in it like the filters that come with pet fountain. All types of debris get inside the fountain.Filters nothing!

Not compatible with my Mospro fountains
The flat margins between the pockets aren't wide enough to accommodate the Mospro frame, so the filter doesn't set fully in and the upper part of the fountain doesn't fit on. Complete waste of money, and too late to return.

Not Compatible with Toozey
Overall rating at a mid-point because I cannot speak to performance. Shipping was quick, but prime so /shrug.I bought these hoping it would work for my Toozey fountain. Shape is spot on, but are too thick.
