I am a long-time Nioxin 3 user, but decided on the basis of the description to order Nioxin 5 shampoo and conditioner this time. (I have white/grey, permed hair--not colored.) I really like it; there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between 5 and 3 but with the quarantine going on 2.5 months now, I am way over due for my next perm. (I will come back to edit this review if there is much effect with the perm.) In general, with both Nioxin numbers, I think my hair is hydrated without feeling at all heavy. And while it doesn't cure my itchy scalp (just itch, not dandruff), it does a better job than other shampoos I've tried. I don't normally buy expensive beauty products, but feel that these are worth it.
