Quality Vermiculite for Seed Starting/Mediun FINE/Nursery/Potting,Garden (1, 10 Gallon)

This is good vermiculite. It's got what plants crave. Wait, but it doesn't have electrolytes. This isn't Brawndo, people...

I mix perilite, vermiculite and charcoal to grow house plants without soil.

Considering you can buy a dog food sized bag for 20.00 at your local hardware shop, this small amount is very overpriced. Also, the order I received was course not medium/fine. I recommend shopping around. Otherwise is a quality vermiculite, but vermiculite is vermiculite:)

I use Vermiculite when sowing seeds in the bottom of peat pots or use in the bottom of the hole in soil before plant is inserted in the ground. Normally I purchase the smaller or finer cut product, as this listing is a bit misleading due to the listing of "Medium/Fine". Medium Yes-Fine No. However, it still serves its function and does the job for me here in the hot dry Nevada climate. Basic rule for me is-Vermiculite on the bottom-Mulch on the top.

Disappointed in amount, thought was getting more.Quality of product is good, but it's just weird to get product in a zip bag.

Arrived leaking all over the mailbox and my car. The mail delivery person wrote me a note telling me it made a mess everywhere, she was right!!It looks like I received about 2/3's of the product.Pretty good product, will mix with my soils for some of my plants.

On positive side it is perfect about of verm for a couple of jars. You can get a giant bag for less if you look around. This is a convenience purchase as it is the perfect chunk size and enough for hobbiest applications. If you are more advanced you might explore a larger bag size.
