Mikrotik mANT LTE 5o Omni-Directional Antenna SMA 5dBi Network Antenna

Perfect antenna for a quick and easy setup. Definitely a upgrade from internal/ rubber screw on antennas. I have much more elaborate Poynting brand directional antennas for my other modems. This was a great choice for a backup modem I run. Speeds on the rubber stick antennas was 4-5mbs down. With the Mikrotik and 2-15ft coax ran outside I see 35mbs. It helped pick up a second band to aggregate and improved the base band. Definitely worth every penny.

Smooth and quality. Quick install. Very light.

I hooked this up to my ZTE MF-279 and it did not improve my signal at all, and possibly reduced it slightly. Returned.

Brought my signal from 1 bar to 3 bar. Definitely works. Just plopped it up on the roof.

Went on a trip to a place with barely any signal. Used this antenna with my Archer MR600 and the signal boost was huge. It works great and is way cheaper than other brands. Totally worth it.

Fatal, me ha decepcionado, soy usuario de mikrotik desde hace años, y pensé que con esta antena mejoraría la señal y la velocidad de un router 4G, pero lo único que conseguí es empeorarla. Pasé de 30 megas a 7. La tuve que devolver.

I live in a terrible area. the ADSL/VDSL service is frankly garbage and the 4G reception has never been great.Been trying multiple providers/routers with out much luck. But I finally realised that the Poynting XPOL antenna I was using is just awful (or mine is completely broken) as I found I was getting better speeds with the little included antennas on my router(s)So figured I would buy a few antennas to test them out as I figured I could do much better than the free in the box antennas.The router I tested with was a Cradlepoint IBR1100 which is CAT6 (although I never managed to get carrier aggregation so only as good as a CAT4 for me)with Three I managed to get 10/10 connection first try with this antenna pointed at the nearest tower just put behind a window. Thats a very fast connection compared to what we have been getting. The included antennas got 2/1 and the Poynting was even worse at sub 1mbps both down/upMy next plan will be to get a 2nd router maybe a Mikrotik SXT or something and try to bond them together for an even faster connection.I will note that this antenna did not perform as well as other antennas did on EE so maybe this is not suited to an EE connection? but for Three it did very well considering the area we are in
