Strange review, this. Because I stupidly ordered the wrong size. So I haven't used them for the task in hand. But they are so nicely made, and look so good and strong that I didn't want to return them. I'll use for some smaller shelves in the future.

I am so chuffed with these brackets. I had been back and forth to home stores and also had ordered other brackets from amazon which just were not right for what I wanted. These are sturdy, well painted and look great! Comes with black screws too. My oak shelves look lovely with these. One very happy customer, exactly what I was after!

I was probably a bit naive but kind of expected these to match the description, a little bit. So I foolishly bought 6 of them.They just aren't really 'heavy duty', the small screws worked for shelves but the rest of the fittings are ineffective.I went out and bought some heavy duty brackets from a hardware store - more expensive, obviously, but it has done the job i expected these to do.All just my opinion, obviously.T

Great little brackets. Used to fit kitchen spice shelf. Great value. Plugs are rubbish though this is normal. Black screws ok and match well.
