Distressed Wooden Storage 5 Compartment Basket (Green)

Way bigger than most expect! It's about 3 feet long. I put mason jars with candles in mine. (It took the largest mason jars I had to look right, the same mason jars I use for spatulas and such next to the stove) EVERY ONE loves it. There is nothing cheap or cheesy about this, quality, solid wood, excellent craftsmanship. Only con, mine had a large splinter started on top of box when received, it could have been a bad thing if someone ended up with it, so I pulled it off and sanded where it had been. About an inch and a half by 1/4in. Not bad and being all natural wood, if a splitter present shocks you, stick with the veneer, it's much safer.

This tote is much nicer than expected. It is sturdy and generously sized. This may be an unusual way to use it but.....I put battery operated candles in each division. They are programmed to come on at dark and stay on for 5 hours. I use the set-up to guide my nearly blind dog towards her bed. The unit is very attractive and can be easily relocated. I originally purchased this to hold my polished rock collection, however it really does look warm and homey with the candles. The rocks are now in a bamboo tray with divisions. It all works! Thank-you for your speedy shipment. The tote was well packed and damage-free.

The construction is solid & the paint is solid. I’ve used it as a utensil server at BBQs, organizer for my tools during projects & a separator for hot sauces at a taste test. I look forward to finding more uses for this weird thing that reminds me of my childhood.

Very cute basket. I used this to make a gift basket for my daughter. I put special teas, scone mix, some mugs, spoons and marmalade in it. It turned out to be very cute. It is larger than it looks online and is very well made. Good purchase!

I understand distressed wood. This part of the wooden storage was fine. It is the coloring variation that was really horrible. Color variations and blending of colors is one thing, but my wooden storage had swipes and areas of a strange color that looks really bad. It is not blended at all. It just looks like someone swiped it with a different paint brush. sorry

I was not pleased with the item mainly because of the size. It is also very light weight and when I stood the items in it it fell over. I probably will use it somewhere but most likely will paint it. I have already removed the rope. It is not bad it just wasn't what I needed.

This basket works perfectly on my mantel with greenery and candles. I have wrapped some jute around part of the handle to give it an even more rustic feel for my décor. I've used it for Christmas as well. In the end slot I put a small burlap wrapped tree then hung bronze jingle bells from part of the handle. Just adorable and versatile for many things.
