Y-START Folding Knife Orange G10 Handle 440C Stainless Steel Blade Knives Outdoor Camping Knife

This arrived today, and once the disposable packaging was junked, I had time to play with it. I prefer a good flipper action to any other, and this is a great one. I checked out the interior construction with a torch, and yes, the liners are skeletonised, and there are no ceramic bearings in this one. There are bronze bushings either side of the blade though, and this creates a reliable and fast opening action. I also have a Y-Start JIN02, which has an Axis type lock (called a G-Lock) which is extremely fast. However, the springs are very hard, and my fingers get tired quickly using it. I much prefer the easy opening flipper on this knife, as it can be a fidget toy without causing any fatigue or cramping. The G10 handle scales are also MUCH grippier, and the shape is thinner but longer, for a very comfortable hold, which fits my hand as well as my RAT 1, which is high praise indeed. I have the orange coloured scales, which make this knife easier to locate, and less threatening to any knife phobic person in the vicinity.
