buy this workbook!
We homeschool and I wanted to find something fun to introduce my 5-year-old son to Science and this workbook is perfect! He absolutely loves everything about! The lessons are fairly short, colorful, and engaging (the MotMots are adorable, too!). Each week is concluded with projects that both my son and I look forward to doing at the end of the week. We would definitely buy this again, and we will be purchasing future grade levels.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I started homeschooling my kindergartener this year. She loves science, but I was struggling to find engaging content and age appropriate projects for her. She is not ready for lots of workbook writing. This workbook is perfect. The pages are colorful and fun, with just the right amount of writing so she doesn't get frustrated. The projects are fun and use easily found materials from around the house. We are enjoying learning together!

Amazing just about sums it up!
The crafts at the end of each lesson aren't over the top or messy which is very appealing with a 4 year old toddler and newborn at home. Simple yet engaging for my boy! Glad to have found something we can do together that gets him away from the T.V. and gets him thinking. I will most deffinately be buying every grade level they have when the time comes : ) I was looking for something not very time or energy consuming to do at home with the kids during the winter months and I found it!

Mostly good ideas
I'll admit, I wanted this so bad I got it for my preschooler. It actually works pretty well. It's pretty fun and the activities in this book really can be done with any child in the 3-5 set, even if they don't understand some of the words.Minus a star because some of the projects are incredibly trash producing for a book focused on environmental concerns. A number called for products such as straws, bags, boxes or bottles that aren't really recyclable before or after. In addition, some of the more basic materials like bowls, crayons become science dedicated after use. This is ok if you prepare for it, but I was hoping for more of an eco-friendly approach given the title.

Great for homeschooling
My 5 year old loves this book! We love the way that it is written and the activities are paced really well. My son is excited to do “science” everyday and although we have always tried to influence him towards science since he was young, we think this book helps him to think “beyond the box” as well. The illustrations are colorful and geared towards children, not to parents. Homeschooling is fun and exciting for our kiddo with this book.

Best engaging science curriculum for 4-5 yr olds!
My 4 year old daughter LOVES this book! She is able to engage with the worksheets and has been learning a lot about seasons, weather etc., and cannot wait to get to the hands on activities at end of each lesson that have them build and create. Great science foundation to get them thinking and trying new things. My daughter asks to do it every day and if she had her way we’d finish the book in a couple of weeks. We plan on trying the other books when we finish this one.

Great Workbooks!!
I recently purchased the Kindergarten Tinker Active Math, Science and English workbooks and I am really impressed. The print and quality of paper used in these workbooks is really nice. The colors are vibrant and the activities are awesome. These books are great for those kids that learn better through a hands on approach. I can't wait to incorporate these in my homeschool.

Engaging books
We love this series because of the simple explanations and engaging activities/experiments. My children are having fun while learning therefore what they’re learning they retain! It easily fits into our homeschool curriculum.
