Excellent shower gel
You only need a small amount to lather up and a nice smell to the product, which isn’t too overwhelming.

An effective shower product. Of reasonable scent. Packaging awkward.
What you have here is a half litre (500ml) bottle of a relatively low viscosity (easy flowing) shower gel. Its scent is 'sort of slightly musky' - inoffensive, but not fabulously desirable either. It lathers up well, and serves the purpose of a shower gel perfectly satisfactorily.I got my half litre bottle to review - and now, having reviewed it, it will be used until the bottle is empty. Is it a fabulous product? No. Is it a poor product? No. Is it a satisfactory, usable, functional product? Certainly.Little nags.Shower gel is something you use in relatively small quantities. Being of low viscosity, and presented in a simple bottle that you un-cap and pour, it is difficult to pour a carefully controlled amount. This is why MOST shower gels are presented in squeezy bottles with fine nozzles - so that they CAN be dispensed in carefully controlled quantities. Yes, I know the presentation of this product is 'distinctive and individual', but that distinctive and individual presentational style comes at a cost of actual functionality. This product would be MORE EASILY USABLE if it came in a squeezy bottle with a fine nozzle.Secondly it was a complete *@!+*! (insert term of choice) to actually open. You take off the bottle top, and over the bottle neck is a silver 'seal' with a tiny tab to grip and pull. Even when you manage to get a grip on this absurdly small tab and pull - the silver layer of the seal comes away, leaving the bottle still sealed by clear plastic. This clear plastic is a swine to puncture and break through. Honestly, it's as if the manufacturers want the bottle to last forever - by not letting you actually open it!So in conclusion, will I use the rest of the bottle? Of course. Once it's used, will I buy another bottle? No.

A reasonable novelty present
Looks like a well packaged shower gel with novelty value (beer). It’s quite liquidy and you must be careful not to pour out too much or you’ll waste it. I guess it’s OK as a present to someone at Christmas or for their birthday but it’s not the shower gel you’d use regularly, hence the price. I’m always looking for low cost, bulk buys and for the price of this one I could buy six to eight of my regular brand (250ml size). However, it’s appealing as a reasonable present, it’s a good size (500ml) and will always get used. It does not have a strong smell but it’s quite nice and I’d certainly be happy to be given one. I agree with another reviewer about how difficult it was to open but I guess this is a good safety feature and a small, sharp blade does the trick.

Inoffensive & unremarkable
This is packaged as a beer bottle and claims to be "beer fragrance" - I'm not sure that would be especially desirable, but fortunately this product lacks any detectable link to beer. The fragrance is slighly sweet and unidentifiable, very much "hotel toiletries". I guess it's intended as something for your SO to buy you for Valentines or Christmas when they run out of ideas. Inoffensive, unremarkable, won't be buying it again.
