Victorinox Swiss Army – HistoryMaster Cutler Karl Elsener opened a cutlery shop in Ibach, Switzerland in 1884. Seven years later, in 1891, Karl supplied the Swiss Army with its standard issue Soldier’s Knife. After the death of his mother in 1909, Karl Elsener introduced the brand name Victoria and the iconic Cross and Shield emblem is registered as a trademark. With the advent of stainless steel, Karl Elsener coined the company’s name, Victorinox, by combining his mother’s name with “inox”, an abbreviation of the French word for rust-resistant steel, “inoxydable”. After World War II, the “Original Swiss Army Knife” began its successful progression around the world and enjoyed exceptional popularity. In 1989, Victorinox entered the timepiece business in the United States under the brand name “Swiss Army”. Ten years later, Victorinox joined the Travel Gear market, partnering with TRG Group in St. Louis. And in 2001, Victorinox fashion was introduced in the US to further capture the brand’s essence of practical luxury. In 2002, in order to promote global unity, the Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece brand was launched internationally. In 2007, Victorinox set up Victorinox Swiss Army Fragrance AG, and in 2009 Victorinox Swiss Unlimited was launched. 2014 marks Victorinox Swiss Army’s 130th anniversary, and each Victorinox Swiss Army product embodies the spirit of the Legendary Original Swiss Army Knife, a universal symbol of Functionality, Innovation, Quality and Iconic Design.Brand ValuesFUNCTIONALITYOur Victorinox Swiss Army timepieces are designed to optimize their usefulness. Excellent Watch!
Nice watch! I would say the best watch if you like classic Swiss made and lum that does last the whole night. Love the dots that glow especially as well as the hands. I wear glasses and I can say in the night it will last at least five/six hours. My Fossil FB-01 watch has a little better lum BUT it passed my eye sight test. This watch is less heavy in weight. Very comfortable. The band is useable but a Barton one is coming. One loop on the watch band that came with it will stretch and will probably flop around but I have put a small rubber Oring on it that I purchased from a hardware store (they are usually in the plumbing section). The strap that came with it is long enough for a bigger wrist but I suggest buying a Barton watch band. My 21 mm Barton just came and I have it on now. Looks and feels much better! The original strap is good too but I like the Barton one. Keeps accurate time and it’s a wonderful watch for all occasions.

I love this watch!
The media could not be loaded. The Victorinox Swiss army classic watch. I’m glad I finally picked one up first thing that I noticed was the weight of it. It’s a real lightweight watch and it fits the nice on the wrist. It seems to keep a real good time when I compare it with my phone it hasn’t lost any minutes in weeks. The luminance works pretty well that could be maybe a little bit better that’s why I gave it a four on one category but besides that the watch is well-made the rubber casing and then the nylon strap the strip doesn’t look the greatest or most durable but it’s held up very well since I’ve had it so maybe that’s just the look of it but besides that the watch is real light feels nice on my arm keeps good time and just a classic look so I’m very happy with this watch and I would Recommend it to anyone.

Ladies say it with me, feels good in the hand. Jk
I don't normally write reviews but this one I have to. I haven't wore a regular watch for a while. I loved my Motorola 360 as a daily but when the battery gave and wouldn't hold a charge I upgraded to the 2nd gen. Wasn't the same so I sold it. Just got my Victorinox Original XL and I love it already. It even fits my skinny wrist due to the fact that i can slip the clasp through the nylon part of the band without having to make a hole for it. Slips right through since the leather part is too large for me. So it's nice and snug and when I take it off it moves back together so itkeaves no hole. Either way I have a new band I'm about to out on as well. Watch face is elegant and clean. I own Victorinox knives and they are too quality, and so is this time piece for the price. Wayyy cheaper than what department stores want too!

Good Watch, Okay Strap
This watch is a pretty sweet deal if you can get it below market listing. I ordered mine used-like new, and I'm very glad I did. It was in perfect condition and I saved some money while I was out it. However, the watch itself is really nice. The brushed aluminum back is comfortable in all temperatures, and the plastic body looks good, and isn't super noticeable. The face itself is nice, and has additional numbers for military time, and I overall really like the look of the face and hands which I think work together really well to make this a good field watch. The hands are visible quickly, although the lum on this watch isn't super strong. You can see the hands and hour dots for about 2 minutes without light, but after that you won't really be able to see them anymore. Because I use this mostly when I have light, this isn't an issue, but if you are going to wear this to bed you might want to consider an alternate option. It's a shame it doesn't have a day complication, but I like the date in the 3 o'clock position. The red circle is a really nice touch and helps the watch to stand out. The strap is decent, but for the money I would've preferred something a little higher quality. The strap is leather where it attaches to the watch, and where the holes are located. The clasp is fine, no real issues but it does feel sort of cheap. Unfortunately I can't find a way to get the straps off, although I plan to purchase some aftermarket leather straps to give it a better feel. It tends to slip on my wrist a lot, but that's probably because my wrists are pretty small. I've worn this swimming, working out, and doing all sorts of daily tasks, and it hasn't scratched the crystal, and any scratches on the body are barely noticeable. Overall a decent buy for the money, and with a little modification this can be a great everyday watch.

Nice watch. Lousy band.
Gave as a present to my (minor) son. The watch is easy to read, accurate, and very serviceable for daily wear. The canvas band was horrible, though, and he took the watch off within a day. I replaced the band with a 21mm silicone band from Barton. Now, the watch and band are a nice package and it's practically welded to his wrist.

The Red Circle has Csptured Me!
Awesome watch. I’m glad I went w the smaller version because I have tiny wrists! The strap is a little long for me...but I’m Mr Tiny Wrists so there ya go. Not a big deal. I have lots of straps. I like the simplicity of the dial and the pop of the red circle/ bezel is visually striking. The hands do have decent lume. This is the kind of watch that I could wear for a long time: affordable, durable, light, and good looking.

Hermoso
Hermoso por donde lo veas, con el tamaño ideal para mi muñeca, buen lumen, lo único que no me gusto es que la caja(estructura) del reloj sea de plastico

Great price, fast delivery, large open face and easy to read numbers on dial
I bought this for my mom as a gift. She'd had the maroon version for many years with daily hard use (i.e. exposure to water, etc.) before it finally conked out on her. She loves the big face and clear numbers, and it looks both sporty and classy. She's a petite woman (5'4") but it's not overwhelmingly big on her small wrists. She doesn't mind the nylon band but because she never takes the watch off (even when sleeping!) I will probably get her a leather band as well as it's easier on her skin. Quick delivery and love the Amazon warranty. Highly recommend!

Finger weg!!!! Miese Qualität.Vertrauen zu Victorinox ist futsch.
Die Uhr funktioniert nach 2 Jahren nicht mehr. Nach einem Jahr war die Batterie leer. Jetzt geht sie laufend falsch. Aussen flott innen Schrott.

Leggero, cinturino comodo, preciso, unico. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato
