this one is the one that looks more like the character portrayed by Peter Capadi
Of all the figurines that I've looked at featuring the 12th Doctor Who, this one is the one that looks more like the character portrayed by Peter Capadi. Even thou this was intended to be a children's toy because it has movable arms and legs and intended for children over 3 years, it still makes a great figurine for my Doctor Who collection. The price was right too. I think you'll be pleased to add this to your own collection

and the face is not gaunt enough to be a good likeness of Peter Capaldi
This is a surprisingly solid little figure. The detailing leaves a little bit to be desired, though: the inside of the coat is not red, and the face is not gaunt enough to be a good likeness of Peter Capaldi. This looks more like Tom Bergeron from America's Funniest Home Videos (or Dancing with the Stars, if that's more your speed). I also worry about losing that teeny tiny little sonic screwdriver he comes with, but since he's on my display shelf, that's not too big an issue. All in all, I am happy to have a figure of the 12th finally. I hope they season 9 figures dont take too long to get made, because I need one of him in his outfit from the premier!

Twelve!
Nice likeness of Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor. Would much prefer if Underground Toys would do this figure in the regular 5" size instead of this shrimpy 3-3/4" size. But I'll take what Twelve I can for now. Come on Underground - you know we want the 5"!! Peter is very popular and will be around for while. Please get started sculpting us a 5"!

Great likeness!
Excellent translation of the Doctor's current incarnation in the 4" scale. I just wish more of these figures were easier to come by in the states. He is not Super-articulated, but I don't actually need my Doctor posed all that dynamically.

TINY 3" DOCTOR WHO Figures Impressive, But Does Not Play Well With Others
{SPOILER ALERT 2ND PARAGRAPH...OR NOT?? I could be kidding...}For a tiny DOCTOR, I must say he looks a lot like that older Scotish actor with the wild eyebrows who gueststarred on the show during David Tennant's brilliant run in the Pompei episode. {I freaking love that one! Donna is hilarious!}Oh! That's the same guy? That IS Doctor 12? Well, then, l AM impressed!Arrived On time and better than l expected. But this 3" size won' t fit with the regular-sized action figure et al. Unless, of course (SPOILER ALERT) he was stuck in the midst of the Doctor 12 episode where aliens from another dimension were {SPOILER} stealing bodies to function on Earth and presumably take it over. ( SPOILER ALERT!!) In that one, the TARDIS somehow had to be carried (SPOILER) around by Clara and she spoke to the Doctor, who was (SPOILER) still inside, via earpiece/mic. (END SPOILER)l must say, Doctor 12 is ranking up there higher and higher for me, and l was a die-hard TENnant firster! Actually, Capaldi Tennant, Smith & Echolston (sp?) have each been my favorites during their time, with Tennant just a bit more. This shows that the showrunners picked each of them just right and each actor fit more into the role with each episode.

"I'm the Doctor"
The Doctor has regenerated! Figure is a good facsimile of Peter Capaldi and comes with his trusty sonic screwdriver to get him out of trouble. These smaller figures come in for a lot of stick from the collectors who favour the 5 inch versions, but if think they are great, being to a similar scale to the Star Wars figures that have dominated the toy scene for a number of years now and as a plus, they take up less shelf space!!
