July 1 2021.. iv got no complaints.! It does as advertised. Iv used it multiple times and for long periods of time with no issues. Also the temperature outdoors while I was using this was around 103°F still worked flawlessly. I used on automotive bolts. Iv recommend this tool to a few people I know and they also like the thing. Hope this helps someone in deciding to purchase or not.NO ISSUES WORKS GREAT.

I purchased this from a utube video about annealing bullet brass. I recommends a special timer to be used with this unit. I did that and annealing brass becamer very easy and fast. Recommend this is you do reloading of bullets.

Invested in the tool to removed Catalytic Converter and removed O2 sensors. Work like a champ be patient with it(20sec+) to heat bolts. It worked great in my first use and do wished it had more coils it only has three. Also, invest in a electrical switch the fan stays on its annoying if you working under a car for a while. Keeps you from plugging it and unplugging it.

Works just like it should, doesn’t get as hot as the higher end models but great for a DIYer. Just need to cycle on and off a couple times. Size was bigger than I expected it to be.

Impressive! I used it on a stubborn brake fitting and it worked great. I smelled heat and bam it was red hot. The brake line came right out. What also shocked me was how cool it was minutes later. I figured I would have to let it sit for an hour to cool down before putting it back in the case. Not so, it was cool to the touch in about the same time It took to heat up. It may be Chinese made but it was well worth the price.

It didn't serve my purpose because it seems to not heat steal screwed into aluminum alloy.

Bought it to remove Manifold bolts and it worked. I only broke one off and that was my fault. If you dont want a welder, or need one, this is a viable option to remove stuck or old bolts. I also used it to remove a caliper and after heating the bolt up, it came right out with little effort. Lotsa potential uses.

I'm trying to remove a badly seized bolt on one of my rear shock absorbers. I've tried all the other recommended methods in these situations, to no avail. As a last resort, I wanted to give this induction heat tool a try. Unfortunately, the tool failed to remove the bolt, since it does not heat up sufficiently. I've tried leaving the tool on the bolt (both on its head and at the back, where the thread is) for 30, 60, and even 90 seconds at a time, but all the tool does is generate useless, noxious smoke. The bolt never got red hot, which means the tool does not work as advertised. I'm not sure if the unit I received is defective or the tool simply fails to generate enough heat for its intended application. Whatever the reason for the tool failing to work as advertised, I returned it promptly.
