An affordable solution for simple tasks
Gimbals can get pretty pricey no matter the style you are looking for (ie, DSLR, Smartphone, Action Cam, etc). So it is nice to run into something like this that won't really cost you too much. This one isn't perfect, but for the price, it can do a lot of neat stuff. When you are standing still and most of the movement is coming from your arms/hands as well as the controls on the handle, you get movement that is pretty smooth. This allows you to get a lot of neat shots around and over objects without little to no shake or jitter. The handle gives you a lot of your option instantly available to you. You can get a number of modes to work with a simple button and the joystick works quite well with moving the phone around the axis points (up/down, left/right). You can instantly take images or can start/stop video with a bottom on the back of the handle. It has zoom control as well (although this is digital zoom so we wouldn't make a lot of use of that). It has threads at the bottom of the handle so you can attach it to the stand it comes with and use it to follow you around with face tracking, which is a great feature. That alone is a pretty strong selling point. There isn't a lot of weight to it, although if you have a relatively heavy phone it will add up no matter how you look at it. Thankfully, the weight isn't terrible at all. It does feel natural during the use of it and it gives you the proper adjustments to make sure your phone sits properly level (since all phones are different in size of shape). You do get some shake/jitter when it comes to walking, which is difficult for a lot of your more affordable options. It takes a lot to get rid of your steps. Some phones like the Galaxy models do require that you disable their own stabilization options in their settings else you might get even more jitter (but this is the fault of the phone's software). With some post editing, you may be able to reduce some of the effect of your steps a little using the right software.Shots where you legs are still though come out really nice. So if you plan on standing still and letting the rest of your body do the movements, it typically comes out looking great. It seems to be a pretty good starting point for those looking to get started with using gimbals. Great if you don't have the budget to invest into those pricier options just yet.**If you have found our review helpful, please vote it as helpful below so I know. Now I want one for my camcorder!
The media could not be loaded. This is truly an amazing device. I've had one in my wishlist for months and decided it was time to pick one up. I went out last week with another phone camera contraption and the whole time I wished I could have taken some video. I'm just too shaky on my own.Battery - I've used it off and on the past few days and it is still going strong. Probably recorded a total of an hour of video and it's been powered on even longer. I also like that it can be used to charge my phone on the go.Stability - It works flawlessly. Check the videoModes - There are several modes you can enable with the push of a button. The pan and track is fantastic if you're recording a vlog or anything where you want to focus on one particular thing. It works extremely well. Just remember to switch modes when you're done or it'll continue trying to track. HahaBuilt-in zoom - Works great...Zooms in and out as expected.Materials - This thing is STURDY plastic. It feels premium. Nothing cheap about it. It's lightweight and is well balanced.Phone Holder - In order to use this I had to remove my phone case. I mean...That's not really a con as this holds the phone VERY snugly in three places. Not once was I worried about it coming loose or falling out. Just thought I should mention it in case anyone is wondering.I literally cannot think of any cons to this. It works exactly as I had hoped. I'm giddy with anticipation of using this in future projects.

Great
I love this! The stabilizer is light, easy to set up, and serves its purpose. Because iPhones (and many other phones) have 4K, I actually try to use this as much as possible. My Canon 5d Mark IV and 6D Mark II are extremely bulky to carry around. I have a stabilizer for those as well... However, with iPhone 4K video, I try to use this as much as possible, and use my Canons for close up shots where I want that low f-stop. This is extremely nice when you're filming an event and are running around all over the place. It's cut my editing time down a ton, and I like how I can easily AirDrop the videos from my phone straight to my MacBook without fiddling with a memory card, adapters, etc.It comes with a really nice hard-case to travel with, but this would be fine sticking in a backpack if you're traveling as well! I haven't been on a trip with it yet, but I know I'll grab this over my bulky DSLR stabilizers!I've given it several hours of use thus far and haven't had to charge it yet.Highly recommend! Great for beginners, but also great for those who have been in the game and need something light and easy to use. Don't be scared to use your iPhone!
