Great solution for stabilizing light stands—expensive
PROs: This StandDaddy is a simple, yet effective way to hold down photography light stands. Excellent solution to stabilize stands! Uses common round barbell weights (sold separately) that are held in place by small threaded rings.CONs: I wish there was better value in buying this. This kit seems overpriced for what one receives. I bought the kit with 8 rings and a carrying handle. The handle is too small to carry all the weights needed.CONCLUSION: I really like this innovative idea and improvement to holding down light stands without a bunch of sand bags.Perhaps the cost for buying into this solution will come down and make this more affordable for others.
