Works great on flies
This bug zapper hangs nicely outside. Very sturdy. Works great for annoying flies. Can be used inside patio or outside. Plug is not long so will need to use an extension cord.

Piece of crap
I can't select half a star. The thing is terrible quality. Total crap. Chinese trash. I get it and plug it in and the lamp doesnt come on. I was willing to deal with that by opening it and screwing it in or whatever. But it doesnt open without screws. Taking those off I discovered the lamp is not accessible so it can't be replaced. I also found one wire loose in top when it was apart. So when I got it. There was a loose wire and a bulb that wasn't connected well. VERY disappointed.

Only 1/2 to 1 acre coverage
First the description says 1 1/2 acres as the coverage area but when you get the box it says 1/2 through 1 acre . Second the slots are not big enough for a large mosquitoes to get through mine is surrounded by a bunch of bugs that does not get zapped at all because they can't get to the coils which are very similar to those that you can buy for your porch light not the quality I expected. If you have small bugs perhaps but not for Texas

Works as advertised
I like that it does zap the small flying insects as advertised. It is a little smaller and the outside grate only allows for small doing insects to go inside to be zapped. We have a lot of mosquito hawks this year and they are too big to fly into it

Works great - Waiting for bug season
I replaced another bug zapper that the dogs had knocked off the shepherd's pole and broken. This one seems to work just as well. I have it on a dusk til dawn sensor so it comes on every night. It's still a bit cool here in Jacksonville so I haven't had an opportunity to see how it will do when bug season gets here but it seems like it will do fine.

Good safety features on the zapper
I really liked the safety feature to keep fingers safe from getting hurt during use. It looks like a good product overall, easy to use and is easy to remove the dead bugs from the bug zapper. There are however a couple typos on the packaging, including where they list the dimensions of the product

If you hate mosquitoes, buy one!!!!!!
Mosquitoes love me! I can't go outside for more than a couple minutes without getting bit on the legs or arms. I spent all day (7am-8pm) outside working and just spent 20 mins shirtless after sundown and don't have a single bite. I went to clean the zapper and when I unscrewed the bottom a ton of dead bugs poured out. This thing is incredible. I want to get another for the front of my house but I don't think I need it! From someone who is a mosquito magnet to another, buy with confidence.

Not a bug light and no mosquito attractant
This is not as described. I get the bug light to replace my old one go find out the bulb isn’t even a bug light attractor. Not even a black light! I was upset. The description also says mosquito attractant included. Nope. You have to buy that separate somewhere else. Finally, no photosensor at all. So unless you are prepared to plug in and out every evening, why have it? Seriously disappointed.
