World Pet Slow Feeder Dog Bowl, Blue

it works for about a day until my dog did some process improvement and a better way to eat around the upright prongs. I'm not knocking it. by all means it has slowed him down but not by much now because he has figured out how to eat out of the bowl. the plastic is rather thin and he chews it sometimes but it is still together. so if you have a dog that is a big time chewer, don't get it because they will destroy it in about an hour.

This works fairly well, but is very light and scoots around a lot. The plastic is so thin that if my dogs were inclined, they could mangle it in seconds. Kind of like the plastic cups they give you at a drive-through. I have some concern to it holding up in the heat of the dishwasher. Will see.

Our dog used to wolf down her three cups of food in about 30 seconds because I guess she though a pack of wolves would eat it before she could. This slow feeder is awesome. It now takes her about five minutes to eat her food. She is still trying to eat as fast as possible. I feel sorry for the assault that poor bowl has to endure. But at least our dog stopped vomiting up her food on the carpet from eating too fast. Worth every penny to keep from having to clean that mess up!

My fault, but I should have read the description better. Got this for my little dog, and the bowl is huge. It would work best for a very large dog, possibly 75 lbs. or larger. Otherwise I think it's a nice solid feeding bowl.

Our beagle wolfs down his meals. We had a slow feeder bowl with 3 knobs that helped some, but we left it on a trip. We purchased this bowl and it makes a world of difference. Our other dogs are now able to finish their meal before the beagle can navigate this one to get all of the food out. If you have a fast eater that you want to slow down, this is the bowl!

This has slowed our Chessy down when eating her meals. Tends to slide along the floor so she has her own special corner where she needs to be fed now.

I purchased a few different dog bowls and of the bowls this one was made of very thin plastic. The bowl is also very deep so most dogs are unable to fit their nose into the bowl to get food. For the price it is okay but I would recommend one that has a bit thicker plastic.
