Smart Caregiver Wireless and Cordless Weight Sensing Bed Pad - 10" x 30" (Monitor or Alarm Not Included)

I have used these products to protect my mothers' wellbeing for at least five years. They work. The alarm is loud enough to wake me from a sound sleep to let me know my mother is getting out of bed or her chair. The customer service is outstanding. I have needed to call for support from time to time, including help with initial set up. The phone is immediately answered by a real person who provides timely help.

This has been invaluable in taking on the night shift for my mother's care. We originally used the pad under her hips, so that we would know if she STOOD up. Now that she is much weaker, we put the pad under her shoulders, so that we know when she SITS up, thus preventing her falling out of bed. This is the second pad. The first lasted 13 months, just past the one year warranty.There are three chime levels. The low is so loud, that I turn the chime off, and just hear the "clicks" that the receiver makes when it receives a signal. It's enough to wake me up, but I'm a light sleeper. Also, the chime sounds like a doorbell, so my dogs bark whenever they hear it.My main objection to this product is that the battery cannot be replaced. Therefore, it must be recycled as toxic waste and the pad thrown out. In our throwaway world, this is too wasteful.

This product is only designed to last for one year of regular use. Works well but limited life. Does not allow you to replace the batteries which seems like a waste.

We've been using these pads for several years now to warn us when our adult son is attempting to get out of bed. It works about 95% of the time. Sometimes if he slides off gradually the alarm doesn't go off and sometimes there is a delay in the alarm going off. The pads do need to get replaced at least once a year. But on the whole I do recommend this product...just get the largest one available!

Just had to replace the pad (this is my third one). It lasts for about a year. Once you buy the monitor, you just need to replace the pad. It comes out to pennies a day. It comes with instructions how to reprogram it. There is an 800 number you can call to walk you through it ( I had to do that last time) They couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend if you want to be notified if your loved one is trying to get out of bed without assistance. I can't tell you how many times this has avoided a tragic fall.

Staff at Mom's assisted living facility said she tries to get out of bed at night and will not use the nurse call button. We were afraid she would fall and break her hip again, so I purchased this wireless bed sensor. So far so good. The signal reaches the nurse station and the audible alarm and flashing red light has been key in giving the aides time to get to her room before she gets out of the bed.I would recommend to anyone having similar problems.

I bought this for my moms hospital bed. I sleep up stairs and I needed a way to know when she woke up at night. It works really well and I have only had it stop working once but with the help of Kerr Medical they helped my reprogram it and it lasted over the year that it was suppose to and then they help me find this replacement pad and helped program it to the old one so I could just swap it out. I love having the alarm so I feel comfortable sleeping away from her and she is still safe. I heck the pad every once in awhile to be sure that the back up batteries are still good so I knew when it needed to be reprogrammed.

Zero stars. This is a scam. The description clearly states that it comes with transmitter. It does not. It is just the pad. What good is that without the transmitter? Steer clear!!!What a waste of time and money!!! This seller should not be able cheat customers like that. Criminal.

RETURNED!!! No monitor 100% useless without the monitor.....
