Stanwood Bonsai Tool Professional Grade Japanese Ashinaga Shears and Concave Cutters

Okay for bonsai tools you get what you pay for and this was a $70 set of professional grade Japanese tools. I'll be honest, the shears are just okay. I wouldn't consider them professional grade. They have some wobble to them and eventually I will need a new pair a lot sooner than if they were truly professional grade.The concave cutters however, are very good quality. Professional grade. The concave cutters are worth the price alone so overall I would say this is a good deal. Just be aware that if you are experienced in bonsai and are looking for professional grade quality tools, the shears may not meet your expectations.But for $70 this is a very good deal and I would recommend.

Items are of excellent quality and are very comfortable. I would note that the shears are a little loose but to concur with a previous reviewer I think that is by design. Regardless, the shears are very comfortable to use. The determining factor for me buying this product was that it provided the two most necessary tools as a set which was nice.

THESE ARE SO FREAKING SHARP! Great quality, definitely stands up well to use but be careful! These are SO sharp that it is easy to cut yourself on accident and leave pretty good wound. Recommended for bonsai or otherwise.

These tools are great. For this price it is well worth the concave cutters alone. I see what others have said about the looseness of the shears but I tend to believe that they are designed that way purposely, because they work great.
