Leather Remote Cover/Case Compatible with Viper Remote Control Model 7941V 7944V 7945V

This case my look a bit bulky on my two way remote but the protection it offers is worth it. I already damaged and eventually broke one of these two way remotes and they are not cheap. Therefore, after i received my replacement remote i knew I needed to add some sort of protection. This case is perfect. It fits nice and snug and provides excellent protection incase I drop my keys. Also the case keeps from your keys scratching the two way pager while they are in your pocket. A must for your two way viper pager!

This cover is for the larger remote. It is a snug fit. It protects in my pocket. It is easy to use the controls. It performs as promised. This is my 3rd remote. I purchased this cover because my other 2 remotes started to screen fade to the point that they could only be seen at night. Likely due to being in my pocket and becoming damp as I sweat in the summer since I work out doors. The cover adds an additional layer of protection. I have been very happy with this product and hope that they continue to make it.

After reading some bad reviews about the cover here or at other sellars ads for the same type of cover, i was aprehensive about buying this one or on any cover for this remote. But i have to say when i got it i was very happy with this product, its made well and fits well. Seams and stiching is done well too. So, i would recemend this sellers cover as i am very satisfied. As a matter of fact i'm going to buy another just in case that over time or accident i need to replace it as i plan on keeping both the car an the viper alarm i put in it.

Pros:- Great for protecting your remote (Have dropped my remote a lot and thankful that I bought this case)- Fits perfectly on the 7941v remotes (Covers the side scroll enough so you don't press it by accident)Cons:- In my preference, I like to have the clear screen protector flat on the remote so you'll probably have to wedge the back with card board to make it sit flat on the screen.

In only a couple days, my purchase of this leather remote cover for my Viper 5906V arrived at my home and, as other reviewers have mentioned, it is undoubtedly an investment to better protect your own. The main Viper remote is freakishly sensitive, so much so I thought I would either disarmed or remote start my car when slipping the case on. Just take your time, go slow,and with a little encouragement from your fingers to stretch the cover just a taste, it will close and snap into place. Also, if you have purchased your Viper from Amazon, unless you are a professional, Best Buy should definitely be able to install your system, even a manual drive, as mine is. To better protect your investment, consider a Square Trade warranty that can also be purchase here on Amazon, for the price range for mine, the warranty is $28.80 for 3 years. Well worth in case Viper does decide not to help you because you did not buy it from a place that will easily charge twice the price listed here.

I was hesitant to buy this product without actually seeing it on my remote. I believe in simplicity and only carry two keys around with me. I do not like bulky key chains. Remote cover looks good and protects my remote, which is the reason for buying this cover. Exceeded my expectations!

I wish I would have purchased this years ago. The vipor car starter remote is so sensitive. I was constantly starting my car when I put my keys in my purse. The case fits perfect and my car hasn't been accidently started since I purchased it.

If your only concern is protecting your expensive Viper remote than this will do the trick. However, for the price is it too much to ask for a more stylish and functional design?The GOOD: Offers excellent protectionThe NOT-SO-GOOD: This cover adds a considerable amount of bulk to an already bulky remote. The other day someone actually asked me why me phone had a key-chain attached to the bottom of it. The design looks and feels sloppy. The plastic window area on mine is stretched so tight that it clings right down the middle of the remotes screen. What ever aesthetic value the remote had is lost with this case. The side wheel is pain to operate if you have huge sausage fingers like I do. The case also does a very nice job of covering the internal antenna that the Viper manual warns you NOT to cover. It may not hinder the operational distance by much, but in in my case (no pun intended) it makes the difference between being able to start my car from the office and not being able to start my car from said office.The bottom line: Lets face it, your options are slim. This remote isn't as popular as your smart phone which probably has hundreds of cases to choose from. But given the choice between an unprotected remote and this case, I'd choose the case at least three times out of five. I just wish it didn't look like it was sown together in some 6th grade Home Ec class.
