Sorry, left negative feedback on this item by mistake. Item arrived in a timely fashion and was as described. Sorry. I somehow clicked the wrong feedback link and I apologize for my feedback and don't know how to change it. That feedback was meant for the throttle grips and cable I order for my husband to repair the doodlebug baja mini bike we are working on. I got a book instead of the throttle grips and cable. Had to return that and search again. Very frustrating but this seller is very good and his or her items are as described.

My factory Doodlebug pull start finally broke to badly to warrant time and attention so I bought this replacement. I put it on the bike and gave it a yank. The handle pulled off of the rope. The knot wasn't big enough to keep this from happening. I put a stainless washer on the end of the rope and re-tied the knot. It's been good to go ever since.I was on the fence as to giving this 3 or 4 stars. Since it didn't mechanically fail I gave it 4. I'd give it 3.5 if possible.

Works great on my son's Doodle Bug, the handle is really cheap and broke on the 3rd pull. I swapped it out with the old one and it works fine

I tried o repair the original pull start for my Doodlebug, but without success. Its design prohibits a fix. So, I bit the bullet and ordered this replacement. It was an easy install and works great. If this rope breaks I think I will be able to fix. I'm happy with this purchase.

Very easy to put on. Doesn’t come w screws :( but works good just can’t pull on it to fast and hard or some metal thing inside will pop off but easy to put back in
