Just sent this vest combo back, along with a second (black) one ordered. The quality with the vest is fine, (-- although the bow tie is too short to tie unless you are a very thin person-- I don't think the length of it changes as the vest size increases ) - the issue is vest sizing. For whatever reason the vest manufacturers do not seem to be on the same page as shirt and suit producers. I wear a 2xl shirt and a 50R suit coat; but even a 3xx vest combo is a bit too tight for me. This seems to be a common theme in these reviews written on Amazon, as well as with an attempt by me to purchase such a combo elsewhere. If you are a "thin" build person, then the sizing may be truer; but if you are larger one then you MUST size up-- in my case 2 sizes!. All of these vests are adjustable; but too small is too small. The should make the vest in an option for a "Classic" size person, and adjust downward

The vest and accessories were excellent. I got several compliments. One complaint I will be speaking to the seller about was that the bow tie was way too small /short. I got the XXX size vest, but apparently they only ship one size tie. Did they really think a medium tie would fit a XXX person?? It was a formal event and the long tie was not an option. I had opened the box previously to check the product, but didn't attempt the tie until the day of the wedding. I wound up using the pins from my shirt to get it to resemble a bowtie. Not the end of the world, but I was disappointed. Otherwise an excellent product.

my son shows dogs and he looked stunning in this. The only reason for the lower rating is that the belt to tighten it across the back slides so that it will not actually tighten it. You pull it and it slips right back. Also the bow tie is for a tiny neck and we will never be able to use it as it is WAY too small. We didn't buy it for the bow tie so for what we bought it for, I LOVE it. We have even gone back and bought it in 2 other colors.

The fabric for this set is absolutely lovely. The bow tie length is so ridiculously small that it was virtually impossible to tie. I was putting it on a 14.5" neck, and the length was so small I had to let the length all the way out and could still barely get it tied. So I guess if you intend to put the bow tie on a cucumber, you'll have no trouble. As it is, I will be taking needle and thread to it and alter it into a pre-tied, "clip at the back" model. Cuz, really, it was ridiculous. The vest is adjustable at the back. I had to double the strap back through the slide in order to keep it at the set length, as it kept slipping back. The pocket square, cufflinks and neck tie are all lovely.

First off, I have to say I was super happy about this set - it looks REALLY good in terms of the design, color, and quality of fabric. However, the bowtie is very thick, making it pretty difficult to tie and adjust. Additionally, the very tips of the bowtie flare out way more than the 'inside' curves of the bowtie, making it impossible to get a really clean bow. I was able to make it look good but only after a painful amount of time, reties, and adjusting. Still, this is a great product and you should jump on this right away if you want silver paisley. I looked super sharp for my formal event!

Got the large, for the height more than the waist. I'm 6'3" and 33 waist. This thing is made for a fat man. Fabric quality is low, but you get what you pay for I guess. I'll probably safety-pin this thing in the back so it's a tighter fit, and wear it under a coat. I bought it to wear to a valentine's formal event we have every year. It'll work for what I got it for.Long neck tie came wrinkled so bad I doubt I'll be able to get the wrinkles out. It's not very long either, but since it's under the vest, that wouldn't matter.Bowtie is one size fits kids. I barely got it to tie around my neck on the loosest possible setting, and I've got a 14.5in neck.

My 16 year old son was asked to the Senior Prom at the last minute. I did not want to pay for a rush tux rental and as a Sophomore escort, a tuxedo seemed a bit over the top. As my son already owns a black suit, I purchased this set to give him a formal look at a reasonable price.We did order a size smaller (M instead of L) based on the review suggestions. The vest fit perfectly and the neck tie and pocket square polished off the look.This is a great, elegant set. I will return to this seller in the future.

I ordered for my boyfriend to match my dress for his senior ball. He is lanky but has a long torso. Ordered the medium and its still large around his midsection at the tightest setting but doesn't look terrible with his suit jacket on. Overall good looking material, doesn't look cheaply made, good bargain for the price and with Amazon Prime it got here within the guaranteed two business days (ordered on Saturday 4/2 and arrived Wednesday 4/6). Can't wait for the event!
