Dolan Designs Plug in Hanging Swag Pendant Lamp Oil Rubbed Bronze with an Amber Glass Shade and Rocker Switch SO101-272

All I wanted was a swag lamp that just plugs in, not hard wired. So after checking with many stores and even more online sites I gradually realized that I am still living in the 20th century and the plug in swag lamps are as rare as hens teeth and was told by a big box store clerk that they are out of style, like he knew what was in style! I'm not looking for style just a nice lamp for overhead lighting and I finally found this lamp so I ordered it and it arrived sooner than I expected. I put it together and attached it to the ceiling above a rocker recliner I also recently purchased and it's looks really nice with the rest of the living room, not too big, not too small, and not too heavy.....p.s. I hate those big box stores and their over abundance of same ol' junk..

Bought this for my dining room, which does not have an overhead light. Floor lamps just don't cut it, so when I saw this light, I jumped at it.It lights up the space very well. It's such a huge difference. It was also easy to install. There were no joists centered above the table, so I used one of the enclosed toggle bolts. Took about 20 mins from opening the box to completion. Good quality, and looks great. Highly recommended.

Used the light to put in a basement bedroom (converted to an office). The light us great, looks nice and does its job. Length of cord and chain is great for a 12x12 room. The chain goes all the way to the floor with a central hanging position in the ceiling to the wall and down to the outlet. I combined this purchase with a remote outlet control so that I can switch it on and off without the need to use the in-line switch. Very satisfied with the look, cord length and price. Recommended.

This lamp is exactly what I needed over my bed to read and it matches my overhead lights quite well. I would have prefered to have had a shiny glass to match, but this one looks very nice. The chain and cord are heavy duty and look great, easy to install. Good price.

Just like they used to have years ago but modern. I just love it. Have been looking for a swag lamp for years in all the hardware store and lighting stores and this is the first one I have ever seen that I would put in my home.

This lamp is just so nice it fit my needs for lighting over the table without having to have an electrician out. I can move it where I need too. The old school chain is nice as well.

this fixture's uses are many. it is a lovely lamp and is pretty anywhere you need a little extra light. it was very easy to install and is even more beautiful when lit. mine is in the laundry room where any other lighting fixture wouldn't work. this light worked out beautifully. be aware when ordering that the on / off switch is very close to the plug. this worked out fine for me but could cause an issue if your outlet is behind an item of furniture. thanks for a wonderful lamp.

This is a beautiful pendant light. I love it. The light it casts is perfect. My only problem with it is that the switch is so near the end of the cord. It would be more convenient, in my situation, if it was a little further up on the cord. I do love the pendant light no matter!

Nice looking lamp. It was well packaged and arrived as expected. The electrical fitting inside the shade was a bit cheap though.
