I love these covers! They really make the crate look nicer - more homey - and I get tons of compliments every time someone visits. I love that my dogs can have as much, or as little, privacy as they want since the door, top, and both sides have flaps that roll up for increased ventilation and socialization.Our terror terrier (50 lb. bully mix) tends to become over stimulated, and we needed something to keep him from seeing us or the other dogs. We originally covered his crate with a towel or a blanket, but the little turkey would always manage to pull it into his crate with him and shred it. Since this crate cover is fitted, he is unable to get a purchase on the cover, or even reach it for that matter, solving that particular problem. It's very simple now to just zip his front "door" into place to keep him from seeing in to the living room and still leave the top and side "windows" open for ventilation.They've really paid a lot of attention to detail with these covers. The material is a light canvas, so it's durable - not flimsy at all. I was concerned by the wrinkles in the photo, but once the cover was in place for a couple of days, it looked like someone had pressed it before placing it over the kennel. The front panel uses two heavy duty zippers on either side for a snug fit, or can be left open by rolling up and fastening to the two industrial velcro tabs at the top. A 2" wide strip covers the bottom of the crate's front panel (the doorstep, if you will) that users of non-Pet Precision crates might find cumbersome when opening and closing the crate door. I simply hook a finger over it and push it down while opening the door. Even when my terror terrier explodes from his crate and the door has caught and pushed against that bottom strip, I've never worried about it ripping or becoming damaged in any way since the material is so durable and the seams so strong.The windows don't zip, but like the door, they are held in the open position by rolling up and affixing to two velcro tabs located at the top of the window. The windows are also covered with a mesh, which allows your dog to still see, but not so much that he feels the need to bark at every little thing. Very nice touch. The bottom of the window sports another pair of industrial velcro tabs to hold the panel in place for increased privacy. The back panel is split up the middle with a heavy-duty zipper that can be unzipped to adjust the fit of the crate cover, as well as increase ventilation.We liked this cover so much that we purchased them for all of our dogs. We have several, all in different sizes of Midwest Crates, so I was concerned that their sizes and Precision Pets sizes might not match up, but be assured that the measurements given in the description are accurate. It is very helpful that the back zips so that you can zip or unzip to adjust the snugness. (Hint: Once you place the crate cover on the top of the crate, but before you start pulling it down, unzip the back zipper at least halfway - it makes it much easier to get on. )Cleaning is a breeze. Our terror terrier is black, and I noticed yesterday that he's somehow managed to get fur on the top of his kennel. I waited until he was out playing in the yard, and while vacuuming the inside, also ran the vacuum attachment over the outside of the cover. Problem solved. It's also very helpful that the covers are machine washable since we all know that's a matter of when, not if.I can enthusiastically recommend these covers, and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

This product is very high quality! After reading all of the reviews (yes, all!), I measured and re-measured our crates to insure a proper fit- and this 36in. cover BARELY fits on my dog's crate. It is tight, so tight that I was pulling it on and struggling with it. It also fits a little strange around the door area because there's a strip of fabric that goes along the bottom of the door- and doesn't go all the way down due to the tight fit of the cover- and thus makes it a little hard to close the door without first pulling the fabric out of the way. I am hoping that over time the fabric will loosen a bit and I will be able to readjust it. I am waiting for the larger crate cover to come (42in +) and I HOPE it fits a little easier than this one did.Overall though, I think these will really hold up. We bought them because our dogs are obviously crate trained and we keep them in our unfinished basement at night. They get a little cold and don't always want to go down when its time. So, last year we covered their crates in carboard boxes and blankets and put them on a rug. Can you say, "EYE SORE"? So this year when they started hesitating to go down, we tried to allow them to sleep where they wanted in the house. Well, they cried for their crates- go figure! And our Boston Terrier tried to make her bed with us in our bed- a no-go. And that brings us to these crate covers.....everyone will sleep peacefully at last! :)

It fits my 12-year-old 36-inch wire crate perfectly and totally elevates its look. Made of thick, durable nylon, and full of zippers and velcro squares to keep flaps open. Each side of the crate has an opening so the dog can breathe. The neutral light beige color fits any decor. There are no extra pieces that hang or fold into the crate that my dog can chew and tear. It came packaged, not in a cheap ziploc bag like many Amazon items, but in its own zippered plastic case. For about $20, this is an awesome buy.I docked a star because many crates have two doors, and some users prefer the bigger door on the side of the crate. These users don't have a way to use that particular door with this cover and will be forced to use the smaller door on the end instead. This is not a problem for me because my dog likes the smaller door on the end, but some users might find it limiting.

I have been looking for a crate cover that covers all four sides of the crate for years, but was unable to find one. I was using blankets to cover my crates, but they were always falling off. Despite my nonexistent sewing skills, I even considered making one! Needless to say, when I saw this, I was thrilled and the price went below $50.00, so I decided to try it. It is exactly what I was looking for. The cover fits my crate perfectly (I own a precision crate) and zips securely on the back. Both sides have large roll up panels over mesh windows, so it is easy to create adequate ventilation. The front cover rolls up, or you can roll it down and zip it closed. The top has a small opening that rolls back to allow for the handle. Additionally, a large part of the top panel zips open to allow for even more ventilation. The fabric is thick enough that the dog can not see through, even shadows, and I think it helps cut down on drafts. I have a very predatory dog that lives with for cats. I have to keep them separated at all times. My dog sleeps crated in my room and the crate has to be covered on so that he cannot see the cats, who also sleep in my room. Being able to cover all four sides of the crate makes this exactly what I needed. If I ever need to crate my dog during the day, or when the cats won't be in the room, I can roll up all the sides and for ventilation and vision. I like it so much, I bought another in this color, and one in navy to cover my other two dog crates. Both colors are nice looking, although I think the navy will be easier to keep clean. One of my dogs even seems to like her crate more since we covered it. I definitely recommend this product.

Was expecting a mediocre crate cover since all the ones we had looked at in store were cheap quality, but not this one. This cover is absolutely fantastic and is by far, way better quality than anything we saw in store. Certainly paid double over retail at a big box store, but the quality is several times that of the big box stores quality. It fits our 4500 series crate very well and is very well made. We wouldn't hesitate in purchasing this cover again.

The shipping was impressive, and the product looked like the description, however, it did not fit my cage. It was too tight at the front where the door is and I could not pull it all the way down. I pulled it as far as I could to get the door opened, but the top overlapped with the door then. The price was right, but I will be returning it for one that fits.

I got the 3000 size for my 3000 size precision kennel. This thing fits like a glove and seems really well designed and put together. 10/10 would buy again.

This crate cover fit our Precision crate perfectly. We got it to hopefully make the crate feel like more of a secure place. Our dog (miniature Australian Shepherd) quickly adjusted and seems to like it. He's a bit of a chewer but he hasn't bothered it at all.This seems like an excellent product. Only 4 stars because it's only actually been used for about a week.
