These once fired, real brass cartridges, have been converted by hand into accessories that can be used for multiple purposes. Their authentic bullet casings, no longer have firing pins but rather, solid wire that holds a small split ring. These little split rings enable multiple applications. Key rings and pendant dog tag chains are included. You can even turn them into earrings with your own attachments. Hook them to a zipper for a unique zipper pull. The bullet itself is brand new and authentic. Even though these bullet accessories cannot be fired or even made to fire, they are exact representations of brand new ammunition. .223 round may fall out- otherwise great product
I really enjoyed using the .223 round as a keychain. The piece added flare to an otherwise boring set of keys. However, after using it for about 3 weeks the bullet had fallen out. Those who buy this, or similar products- I would recommend not using it as a keychain if you are likely to store them in pockets. As the pressure from the tight space could cause the bullet to become dislodged. Despite this flaw, the casings held strong against corrosion, and the other bullets make a great gift for other people; if taken care of properly.[UPDATE] After my review I was contacted by their support team and was offered a free replacement. If you happen to experience a similar situation, I urge you to contact them directly and they will most likely send you a replacement. Their customer service department responds quickly, and are very generous people.
