beautiful gift
I am very happy with this purchase. We ordered 2 sets of these(1 was the Madonna & child, and 1 was the wolves). the dolls arrived quickly and the painting is beautiful. We did have a small issue where the painting on one of the dolls had a very small chip, but we contacted the seller (Victoria from buyrussiangifts) who responded immediately and shipped us a new doll that same day. I will say that the outside doll fits very snugly, I am guessing this is so it does not come apart when you dont want it to. probably fine for an adult but we are giving these to kids so we lightly sanded (i mean very lightly - just a few swipes) the inside of the doll where they fit together and they are perfect. I am really pleased to be giving quality, well made, hand crafted and beautifully painted gifts to the people we love. it is so nice to see an artists signature on the bottom instead of a sticker that says "made in china". I cant wait to give these gifts and would definately buy again from the same seller. (ps i always try to include the price i paid on my amazon reviews because the prices jump around sometimes. i paid around 50 for these dolls and for the quality I am pleased with that price)
