NSIcable High Speed USB 2.0 A-Male to A-Female Extension Cable (5 Feet / 1.5 Meters)

I ordered this cable for my RTL-SDR setup due to the included ferrite bead. The cable is of good quality and has worked well for the past three months. The one caveat is that at first it didn't seem to be working reliably, causing devices to fall back to USB 1.1 speeds or fail to be detected entirely. After a few insertions/removals of the computer end (the male end) it hasn't had issues since. I'm guessing dust or some other contaminant was on the contacts?

This cable may be good for data but does not power very well. The dealer responded quickly and filled the order fastt.
