Into the Word Bible Study Guide: 52 Life-Changing Bible Studies for Individuals and Groups

When going through a study I want to know what God’s actual word says. There are too many times where we are asked to guess what someone meant, including Jesus. I’m not here to wonder at their thoughts and feelings. I’m here to study the word of God. Sadly this study takes us on a wild goose chase.

I have only recently begun to read this book and study the Bible references that are suggested. The book has 52 weeks of study topics and begins with the first week of January. However, I began reading January's lessons in September with the understanding that I am beginning my new year of Bible life today. I am learning and growing my Bible knowledge daily as well as weekly. I look forward to my time researching the Bible. Anne's book allows the reader to discover the treasures of the Bible by doing his or her own research. Anne provides the guide and the reader does the work. I am loving my discoveries. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to grow their knowledge of the Bible and become closer to God.

This Bible Study will take you all over the Bible as you delve into the answers to the questions that are provided. It is one of the best studies I have ever done, and I am learning a great deal as a result of this.Knowing how hard I am working gave me pause to realize that Anne has done all of this research in order to put this wonderful book together. It is a full year of study, but as I am going through it, I feel that I am growing quite a bit as I work and pray and get "Into the Word." It will be time well spent by you as well. God Bless.

I've been using this book for a study with two friends for about 6 months now. It is an excellent walk through many life lessons and biblical topics, along with every day struggles as Christians. We didn't realize that it started in January and does base some of the topics off of the time of year... but we just started in January (in June) and it really hasn't mattered... we typically get a lot out of each week's lesson. The author's really take you through scripture to come up with a lesson I'm often surprised about. I would definitely recommend this for those looking to deepen their faith with scripture.

We are using this book in our small group of "over 50's" at our church. Love that you can go "shallow or deep" with it, and that while each week is connected to others in a unit, they do not build on each other (each stands independently). This was important for our group so that everyone could jump right back in and not feel lost if they had to miss a week (or several). This encourages everyone to keep coming back when they have had to miss. Also great bang for the buck... 52 weeks of lessons for under $15.

A major advantage in this book is one can start at any time through the year and continue from there. Like the way it is somewhat "seasonal" and appropriate for year-long study. Lots of referencing and looking up scripture which I find faith-building. Excellent study for a beginner or mature Christian.

I bought this for a ladies Bible study group I ran. I like the fact that it's thematic. Quite a lot of flitting through bible passages which can be a bit bewildering for some, but I don't think that's such a bad thing. Thank you Anne.

I use it as a daily devotional. It is very well printed, well laid out, easy to understand and very thought provoking. Delighted with the book.
