Great monitor arm, good price, excellent quality
Pretty simple here: high quality monitor arm at a good price. It's nicely adjustable and I've found that my desk has more usable space and the monitor is at a more "readable" height.I've attached an Acer 21.5" LCD monitor to the arm using the VESA 100 bracket that came with the Neo-Flex. The desk clamp hold very strong and I'm not worried at all about it moving or becoming loose over time.I have a lot of adjustment possibilities with this arm. Although I will likely keep the monitor in one spot, I could move it around if I wanted to. The monitor is sturdy and I have no worries of it coming loose and falling or moving out of position. The one gripe I have is that the main adjustment arm has a push button. geared tiller in it rather than a viscous or tension coupling. Thus, if I wanted to adjust the height of the monitor, I have to push this button. Granted, the button and gear essentially "locks" the monitor height in place, but I'd rather a more elegant solution. As I come the find out, the more expensive LX Monitor Arm from Ergotron has this very function - no button needed to move/secure any adjustment. However because this arm was 33% cheaper, I will not look down upon it. Just be aware that if you want "button" or "gear" free adjustment, this monitor arm is not for you. The LX arm from Ergotron is more expensive but has the "fluid motion" feature allowing for buttonless adjustments.Overall this is a 5 star item being what it is. I cannot detract a star for the locking button. The quality is high and it performs exactly as expected. It's stylish looking (although that didn't matter to me when I bought it), works well, is solid, reliable and adjustable. My desktop is less cluttered because I got rid of the bulky monitor stand, and because it's elevated from the desk, I can literally place things under/behind where the monitor stand used to be, allowing me to reorganize my desk more efficiently. Lastly, the monitor is about 8" from the desktop and closer to my face, and this put my head in a better viewing position (looking level instead of looking somewhat down). It actually made my monitor seem "bigger" than it was strictly due to the better positioning.

Wonderful LCD Arm
I recently wanted to remodel my den office and I wanted the LCD display up and off the work surfaces. This product does exactly that, and it does it extremely well. I looked a lot of different options on Amazon, and honestly this LCD Arm was what looked to be the best solution for me.This is my second Ergotron product and as per usual, excellent design and product quality. There are several different options provided for mounting this LCD Arm to your work surface. In my case, I used the standard fitting it comes configured with that allows you to tension mount it to the edge of the work surface. So I cannot speak to the other options (and enclosed hardware to support them) other then to say they make sense and look logical in the instruction paperwork the unit comes with.As for range and motion of articulation, this unit does provide a full range of motion, as well as good range in LCD height. By good range of LCD height.. I mean that I could literally adjust the LCD panel to any reasonable range of height off the work surface that people are likely to encounter when using the product. They provide an adapter bracket for different mounting hardware requirements for your LCD, and it was slick and simple to attach and use.Really.. this arm is going to give me good years of serviceable life in my office, and it's outstanding to have the LCD up off my desk now, making room for other things... like the keyboard when I am not using it, etc.My only wish is that I wish Ergotron made their products in White and Black as well... but you know what.. that's a nit since the product design and function is so good.

Either I am doing something wrong, or this thing is trash
I can NOT get it adjusted, and I have been fighting with it for well over an hour. I wanted to use it on one of my monitors, but I guess you get what you pay for because oof. This thing is not nearly as flexible as I had hoped. If I hadn't already opened it and fought with it for over an hour, I'd probably just return it.I still might, because I do not recommend this. Ergatron arms are nice, I used one for years, but this rendition is very much not worth it. At ALL.

24" Widescreen LCD, Near the Limit
Pros: High Quality Fit & Finish, Swivels 180º Effortlessly, Low price considering overall package.Cons: Would have liked a better/cleaner cable management solution. When I first removed the assembled arm from the box, my first impression was wow this is heavy and very well made. The more I've used it that impression is only reinforced.I have this mounted on the corner of a coffee table, it then swings the monitor in a 90º, 135º or 180º arc depending on where I have my recliner positioned. I swing it back to its 0º rest position each time I get out of the chair or when not used. I have a 22" Acer widescreen on the arm which I selected to be under the maximum permitted weight. In order to clamp on the coffee table, I had to drill two holes in the bottom L-bracket and flip it over. This increased the clamp opening to ~3", now very secure.I have both a VGA and DVI cable, plus power and audio running through the two cable clips. Works but a bit unsightly. I'd like to see a more enclosed cable solution. As others have stated, the screws are TIGHT. I couldn't rotate the monitor around the VESA bracket w/o first loosening the nut. Since this nut is hidden behind the VESA mount, important to get it right.Edit: (April 2008) Removed the 22" LCD and put on a 24" KDS LCD. The KDS at 16 lbs is near the arm's limit of 18#. Still works well, just wouldn't want to go any heavier.Edit: (Dec. 2009) After rotating the arm 180º several dozen times a day for 2-years it got so it would barely move. I downloaded the PDF from the Ergotron website, then disassembled the pivot, bone dry. I cleaned the steel pin and aluminum socket, applied stem grease and viola, like new again.

Me encanta. Viene montado, listo para atornillar al monitor y fijarlo a la mesa. Una gran liberación de espacio al prescindir de mi peana y libertad de movimientos, para orientar el monitor donde necesites.

Great Product! Super solid, out of the box and set up in minutes.
I love my Neo-Flex arm for my Wacom Cintiq 12wx. When I'm not drawing on my tablet it hoists it right up next to my big LCD monitor to create a perfect dual-monitor setup. When I'm drawing on it it allows me to move it closer to me in any comfortable drawing position and turn the work surface 360! Best of all it frees up my desk surface for my keyboard, mouse, notes, toys and cat :DGreat product. I don't know why one customer had such difficulties with it. Worked great for me.
