This is the best money i have ever spent on my nintendo switch. I have owned it for just about a week now and this thing is amazing. I play zelda breath of the wild and just using the battery built into the switch i get about 2 hours of non stop gameplay with brightness set to max and airplane mode off. But with this amazing battery pack i get a solid 6-7 more solid gameplay hours. If i turn the airplane mode on and put my brightness to 75% i can get approx 8-9 hours on top of the 2 with the battery built into the switch. The button covers are awesome as well. There very grippy and the nfc function for amiibos work threw them. So you dont have to worry about taking them off in order to use your amiibos. The tempered glass screen protector is very clear and crisp. But the best thing about this battery pack is you can play it while it charges. its powerfull enough to not only keep playing but it will actually charge your switch while your playing. It may take a little longer to charge it but its worth it. Ive had a few battery packs that would allow you to keep playing for a little longer but the battery would not charge. But that is not the case here. The only thing that i dont like is the small button that you press to charge it gets stuck sometimes. Im not sure if its bc its new and it needs to get broken in but its not to bad. So if you are debating on buying this dont be worried bc this battery pack will be the only one you need.

Read through the other reviews and many were negative due to either bad battery or messed up their devices when charging external devices from the USB port.From my experience, so far, it works. I'm skeptical on the 10k mAh battery, since the switch is around 4300 mAh, thus you can get two full, and barely a half, charging opportunities.Charging my pro controller at the same time didn't show any signs of damage or burning. My guess is don't charge devices from the case that pulls too much current.It doesn't charge automatically; You have to manually activate it by pressing a small black button on the bottom (once). There is a small delay, then 4 blue LED lights flash solid. The switch will then charge after a couple of seconds (another delay). The delays are intentional BTW (circuit protection for the switch). You can manually stop charging by holding down the button until the blue lights disappear.The "leather" feel is nice and allows decent grip due to its texture, and despite the case adding weight due to the battery, for big guys with big hands it is not a real bother (at least to me). Attachable grips would have been a real sell point if possible, though.There are vent ports on the bottom (design to push the hot air from the switch's back vents downward). Allows you to lay the switch down without worry about overheating, for the most part. Be sensible where you place the device (batteries that overheat will expand no matter what, and laying it to even hotter surfaces is asking for a quick end).Aside from extra battery on the go, the screen cover is the second reason why I purchased this item. Sure the switch screen is plastic, but having it move in your backpack or whatever with other items can potentially scratch the screen up to be a true annoyance. The cover eliminates that concern.Overall enjoy the case and its small features. Sure could use more snazzy accessories, but for what it is worth ($10 cheaper compared to the same product but with a different brand/maker), it works well and so far happy with the purchase.

This is an awesome product I have had it for a while now and before I had this battery case I was having to charge my switch two or three times a day now my switch never leaves the 100 mark unless I forget to turn my battery on the case on can't say enough good things about this product the only thing is you can't dock it with the battery but I dont use my switch on a TV because I don't have one so my switch is in portable mode always I play it every day and charge it at night now I can play as much as I want and don't have to worry about it going dead

Love this battery pack... Especially cause you can charge your switch and something else at the same time

After 1 trip, it appears to be holding up well. I was a little concerned about how flimsy the power connector felt at first but the way that the Switch slides in means that its not an issue. The only negative is that I lost one of the thumbstick covers somewhere in my travels

I just loved it its a fully functional case with 10,000 mah you basically quadruple battery life just overlook the bulkiness but it's a 10,000mah battery it has to be bulky.
