This power bank has plenty of capacity for recharging a smartphone over and over again. Charging my phone to 100% from around 25% didn't even decrease the power bank level by a single notch. Also, when it arrived, it was already filled most of the way, so I only had to charge it for a short time to top it off.Recently, I took a trip from the U.S. to South Korea by air, and took this power bank with me. I put it in my carry-on bag, and security both in the U.S. and in the Republic of Korea were fine with me having it - they didn't even ask what it was.This device is quite versatile. It can be charged from a USB port on a PC, laptop, wall charger, or anything else with that port. And it's able to power any USB device up to 2.1 amps, so nearly all tablets and phones.Overall, this is a great power bank, much better than one of those tiny lipstick-shaped ones.

I got this external battery pack for my Samsung Galaxy S6, which as you might know needs a little help to last a full day. At 15600, this battery has enough juice for at least 5 refills - great for travel (or really, any time you're not near an outlet).1) It was received in basic brown cardboard packaging, included a quite short micro USB cord to charge the battery itself, and the directions. The device itself is about 2/3 a box of spaghetti in both length and width, and feels like it weighs a pound. It's relatively heavy - I would say it's more for a backpack than small purse/clutch. It's wrapped in textured plastic which is still a bit slippery on a table surface, but ok in your hand.2) It arrived with 2 bars of juice; first charge required about 12 hours to get to 4 (max) bars. Now it goes from 0-1 bars to 4 bars with an overnight charge. You CAN charge this this with any generic micro USB cord, not just the supplied one.3) There are two outputs rated at 1.0 and 2.1. It's so hard to see which one is which, but the one nearest the power button is the higher-rated one and to be used for iPads and other power-demanding tablets. My S6 detected a diff between the two outputs, so there you go. I usually plug in the USB cord into the battery, then the micro end into my phone, and then tap the power button to turn it On. In one month of use (about 5 recharges and respective outputs), it has never gotten hot from getting charged nor when giving a charge.4) *** Even though the listing and description says "Fast Charging" this does NOT output Qualcomm Fast Charge 2.0 ***I wouldn't say that this is a dealbreaker, because for the price the battery it has worked well so far, but if you're looking specifically for an external battery that supports Fast Charge 2.0, look elsewhere.5) I have charged an S6, an S3, a Galaxy Tab 3.0, Tab 2, Note Pro or whatever it's called, Kindle Fire HD6, an iPhone 6+, an iPad 2, and an iPad mini non-retina. It was also evidently able to charge my Panasonic 3D glasses (I know, I know) with a mini-USB, bluetooth earpiece (Samsung), and bluetooth headphones (Motorola).6) It retains power quite well in my estimation. You're not going to be able to really detect power dissipation of such a high-capacity battery with only its four LED indicators, but I have had this battery sit unused after a full charge for a week and still have four bars/LEDs once I eventually used it. Again, this is four weeks after purchase having charged it about 5 times.PROS- 15600 mAh (plenty of capacity for multiple phone charges)- Dual port (actually works)- LED indicators (max = 4)- Good price- Now able to charge from zero to full in about 8 hoursCONS- Heavy- Kinda tricky description - again, this is NOT Qualcomm Fast Charge 2.0 outputYou want this for a long plane or train ride, for the beach, maybe the back porch, at a picnic, in the car because those bullet plugs break so easily, on a camping trip, and any time you're going to be using power hungry device features like GPS, Sync, Bluetooth, etc for a long period of time (especially GPS).

I bought this battery as I like to travel and sometimes get stuck with no source of power.This works pretty well, but recently (have had this for months before I posted) the battery indicator jumps from full, to half, to empty in less than an hour. It happens sporadically and I cannot recreate the reason. Maybe the heat of summer had something to do with the battery acting odd, but I was in a air conditioned building when the battery started acting up.I do like the battery and the amount of charge it holds is amazing, but this battery will have to make it a few years before I love it. But for the price this is one of the best battery banks I have ever purchased, and I have bought quite a few over the years.

Love this battery backup. I have tried others.. they are Cr..P!! This one is for real. It is heavy but well built. Has a battery test button to check charge state. Is able to charge my Galaxy S5 using the fast charge cable and also charge another device (2 ports). Recharging takes a while as it does not 'Fast Recharge', but I mainly cared about charging my devices quickly, not recharging this battery quickly.

This thing is AWESOME I bought 2 of these Power Banks for Christmas - one for my wife and one for me. It initially felt and looked well made. I charged it up (it was nearly full charged already) and tried powering my phone with it. Worked as expected.But there's the awesome part... I then put it in the glove compartment in my car and sort of forgot about it. I meant to have it there in case I was stranded or something like that. In fact, I forgot about it until mid-July, almost 7 months later.I was driving on a small local trip (about 1 hour away) and realized I didn't have my car charger with me. Dang! I also only had half of a battery charge, had an aging Galaxy S5 phone that lost power too quickly, AND had to use GPS to get to where I was going.I remembered then that I had this Abicon Power Bank in my glove box. I though it was worth a try, so I plugged it in. Guess what? After sitting in my glove box for almost 7 months unused, for the entire 2 hour trip there and back with GPS and an audiobook going the whole time, this thing not only powered my phone but fully charged it! And it still has it's own charge for my next emergency (though I'll probably charge it back to full before then).THAT'S impressive, at least to me. It's my first Power Bank. but why would I need anything else?There is only one thing I wish were different, but not enough to dock this review by a star. I wish it had an indicator to tell me how much charge it has left in the bank.

Have a backpack with 5600mAh battery that stopped charging. Use this as a replacement and it works well. More battery life, easy to charge, small enough to fit in bag.Highly recommend seller and product.
